bukhari:7403 – ʿUmar b. Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth from my father > al-Aʿmash > Shaqīq > ʿAbdullāh

The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is none having a greater sense of Ghira than Allah, and for that reason He has forbidden shameful deeds and sins (illegal sexual intercourse etc.) And there is none who likes to be praised more than Allah does." (See Hadith No. 147, Vol. 7)

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None has more sense of ghaira than Allah, and for this He has forbidden shameful sins whether committed openly or secretly, and none loves to be praised more than Allah does, and this is why He Praises Himself."

bukhari:5220 – ʿUmar b. Ḥafṣ from my father > al-Aʿmash > Shaqīq > ʿAbdullāh

الطبراني:١٠٤٤١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الطَّحَّانُ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ الْهِلَالِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الضَّبِّيُّ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ

«مَا أَحَدٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللهِ؛ وَلِذَلِكَ حَرَّمَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهْرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ»

السيوطي:٨٥٣١a –

"أَنَا أغير من سعدٍ واللَّهُ أَغيرُ منِّى، وما من أَحد أَحبُّ إِليه العذرُ

من اللَّه، من أَجْلِ ذلك بعثَ المرسلين، وما أَحدٌ أَحبَّ إِليه المدح من اللَّه، من أَجل ذلك وعد الجنَّة" .
