On traveling, ʿAbdullah bin ʿUmar used to offer the prayer on his Mount by signs whatever direction it took. ʿAbdullah said that the Prophet ﷺ used to do so.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ
Narrated Nafi', 'Whenever Ibn 'Umar finished his morning Salat at Dhul-Hulaifa he would get his Rahila (mount) prepared. Then, he would ride on it, and after it had stood up straight (ready to set out), he would face Al-Qiblah (the Ka,bah at Makkah) while sitting (on his mount) and recite Talbiya. When he had reached the boundaries of the Haram (or Makkah), he would stop recitation of Talbiya till he reached Dhi-Tuwa (near Makkah) where he would pass the night till it was dawn. After offering the morning Salat, he would take a bath. He claimed that Messenger of Allah ﷺ had done the same.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ
Nafi' reported that Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) did not enter Mecca without spending the night at Dhi Tawu until it was dawn, when he took a bath, and then entered Mecca in the morning, and made a mention that Allah's Apostle ﷺ did that.
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ لاَ يَقْدَمُ مَكَّةَ إِلاَّ بَاتَ بِذِي طَوًى حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ وَيَغْتَسِلَ ثُمَّ يَدْخُلُ مَكَّةَ نَهَارًا وَيَذْكُرُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ فَعَلَهُ
Nafi' reported on the authority of Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) that Messenger of Allah ﷺ walked swiftly from stone to stone in three circuits and walked (normally) in four.
رَمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ ثَلاَثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا
Nafi' reported that Ibn Umar (Allah he pleased with them) walked swiftly from stone to stone, and stated that Messenger of Allah ﷺ did like this.
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَمَلَ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَعَلَهُ
Jabir b." Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ walked swiftly in three circuitsfrom stone to stone.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَمَلَ الثَّلاَثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ
Nafi’ said It was Ibn ‘Umar’s habit that whenever he came to Makkah he spent the night at Dhu Tuwa in the morning he would take a bath and enter Makkah in the daytime. He used to say the Prophet ﷺ had done so.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ فَعَلَهُ
Nafi’ said Ibn ‘Umar walked proudly (ramal) from the corner (Black Stone) to the corner (Black Stone) and mentioned that the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ had done so.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ
"Sa'eed bin Jubair led us in prayer in Jam'. (He prayed) Maghrib, three Rak'ahs with an Iqamah, then he prayed 'Isha', two Rak'ahs. Then he mentioned that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar had done that, and he mentioned that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had done that."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ
"I saw the Messenger of Allah walking rapidly from the Stone to the Stone, until he had finished three circuits."
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَمَلَ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَيْهِ ثَلاَثَةَ أَطْوَافٍ
It was narrated from ‘Alqamah that Ibn Mas’ud prostrated twice for the prostrations of forgetfulness after the Salam, and he mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ did that.”
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ
It was narrated from Jabir that the Prophet ﷺ walked briskly (Ramala), from the Hijr to the Hijr, three times, then he walked normally for four.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَمَلَ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ ثَلاَثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًا
