[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The orphan girl is to be consulted regarding herself. If she remains silent, it has been accepted from her, and if she refuses, she should not be compelled."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ وَإِنْ أَنْكَرَتْ لَمْ تُكْرَهْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ وَإِنْ أَبَتْ لَمْ تُكْرَهْ
[Machine] The orphan girl is being ordered within herself, so if she remains silent, then she has agreed, and if she refuses, then she should not be married.
تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ وَإِنْ أَبَتْ فَلَا تُزَوَّجْ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The orphan girl is consulted regarding herself. If she remains silent, it is permission. And if she refuses, she is not forced." I said to Yunus, "Did you hear this from him, or did you hear it from Abu Burdah?" He said, "Yes."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ وَإِنْ أَنْكَرَتْ لَمْ تُكْرَهْ قُلْتُ لِيُونُسَ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْهُ أَوْ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ نَعَمْ

سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ رِضَاهَا وَإِنْ كَرِهَتْ فَلَا كُرْهَ عَلَيْهَا»

The Prophet ﷺ said: An orphan virgin girl should be consulted about herself; if she says nothing that indicates her permission, but if she refuses, the authority of the guardian cannot be exercised against her will. The full information rest with the tradition narrated by Yazid. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted in a similar way by Abu Khalid Sulaiman b. Hayyan and Mu'adh b. Mu'adh on the authority of Muhammad b. 'Amr. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2093)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ heard saying: "Permission is sought for a young orphan in regards to herself. If she remains silent, it is deemed as consent. And if she dislikes it, she is not to be forced."
سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ رِضًى وَإِنْ كَرِهَتْ فَلَا كُرْهَ عَلَيْهَا
"تُسْتَأمَرُ اليَتِيمَة في نَفْسِهَا، فإِن سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَت، وإن أَنكَرَتْ، لَم تُزَوَّج".
