"The Messenger of Allah said: 'An orphan girl should be consulted with regard to marriage, and if she remains silent, that is her permission. If she refuses then she is not to be forced.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ إِذْنُهَا وَإِنْ أَبَتْ فَلاَ جَوَازَ عَلَيْهَا

The Prophet ﷺ said: An orphan virgin girl should be consulted about herself; if she says nothing that indicates her permission, but if she refuses, the authority of the guardian cannot be exercised against her will.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ إِذْنُهَا وَإِنْ أَبَتْ فَلاَ جَوَازَ عَلَيْهَا وَالإِخْبَارُ فِي حَدِيثِ يَزِيدَ

The Messenger of Allah said: "An orphan is to be consulted about herself, then if she is silent that is her permission, and if she refuses, then do not authorize it (the marriage) for her" (meaning: when she attains the age of puberty and refuses it.)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْيَتِيمَةُ تُسْتَأْمَرُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ صَمَتَتْ فَهُوَ إِذْنُهَا وَإِنْ أَبَتْ فَلاَ جَوَازَ عَلَيْهَا

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'An orphan girl should be consulted with regard to marriage, and if she remains silent, that is her permission. If she refuses then she is not to be forced.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3270)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِينَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ إِذْنُهَا وَإِنْ أَبَتْ فَلَا جَوَازَ عَلَيْهَا

[Machine] The orphan girl is being ordered within herself, so if she remains silent, then she has agreed, and if she refuses, then she should not be married.

تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ وَإِنْ أَبَتْ فَلَا تُزَوَّجْ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'An orphan girl should be consulted with regard to marriage, and if she remains silent, that is her permission. If she refuses then she is not to be forced.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3270)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ إِذْنُهَا وَإِنْ أَبَتْ فَلَا جَوَازَ عَلَيْهَا»

The Prophet ﷺ said: An orphan virgin girl should be consulted about herself; if she says nothing that indicates her permission, but if she refuses, the authority of the guardian cannot be exercised against her will. The full information rest with the tradition narrated by Yazid. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has also been transmitted in a similar way by Abu Khalid Sulaiman b. Hayyan and Mu'adh b. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The orphan girl is to be consulted regarding herself. If she remains silent, it has been accepted from her, and if she refuses, she should not be compelled."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ وَإِنْ أَنْكَرَتْ لَمْ تُكْرَهْ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The orphan girl is consulted regarding herself, so if she remains silent, then it is her consent. But if she refuses, then it is not permissible for her." Abu Dawood said about the narration of Yazid: "And it is the same."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ إِذْنُهَا وَإِنْ أَبَتْ فَلَا جَوَازَ عَلَيْهَا وَقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْأَخْبَارُ فِي حَدِيثِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ وَكَذَلِكَ

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال تستأمر اليتيمة في نفسها فإن صمتت فهو إذنها أو إذن منها

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ وَإِنْ كَرِهَتْ فَلَا كُرْهَ عَلَيْهَا وَلَا جَوَازَ عَلَيْهَا

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَقَدْ أَذِنَتْ وَإِنْ كَرِهَتْ فَلَا كُرْهَ عَلَيْهَا

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم تستأمر اليتيمة في نفسها فإن سكتت فهو إذنها وَإن أبت فلا جواز عليها

" اليَتِيمَةُ تُسْتَأمَرُ في نَفْسِهَا، فَإِنْ صَمَتَتْ فَهُوَ إِذنُها، فَإِنْ أَبْتَ فَلَا جَوَازَ عَلَيهَا".

"تُستَأمَرُ اليَتِيمَة في نفْسِهَا؛ فإِنْ سَكَتَتْ، فَهُوَ إِذنهَا، وَإِن أبَتْ فَلَا جَوَازَ عَلَيهَا".
