Whenever Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a Ghazwa, Hajj or ʿUmra, he used to say Takbir thrice at every elevation of the ground and then would say, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; He is One and has no partner. All the kingdoms is for Him, and all the praises are for Him, and He is Omnipotent. We are returning with repentance, worshipping, prostrating, and praising our Lord. He has kept up His promise and made His slave victorious, and He Alone defeated all the clans of (nonbelievers).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنْ غَزْوٍ أَوْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ يُكَبِّرُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ مِنَ الأَرْضِ ثَلاَثَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ returned from the Hajj or the ʿUmra or a Ghazwa, he would say Takbir thrice. Whenever he came upon a mountain path or wasteland, and then he would say, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Alone Who has no partner. All the Kingdom belongs to Him and all the praises are for Him and He is Omnipotent. We are returning with repentance, worshipping, prostrating ourselves and praising our Lord. Allah fulfilled His Promise, granted victory to His slave and He Alone defeated all the clans."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنَ الْحَجِّ أَوِ الْعُمْرَةِ وَلاَ أَعْلَمُهُ إِلاَّ قَالَ الْغَزْوِ يَقُولُ كُلَّمَا أَوْفَى عَلَى ثَنِيَّةٍ أَوْ فَدْفَدٍ كَبَّرَ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهْوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ قَالَ صَالِحٌ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَلَمْ يَقُلْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ قَالَ لاَ

When the Prophet ﷺ returned (from Jihad), he would say Takbir thrice and add, "We are returning, if Allah wishes, with repentance and worshipping and praising (our Lord) and prostrating ourselves before our Lord. Allah fulfilled His Promise and helped His Slave, and He Alone defeated the (infidel) clans."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَفَلَ كَبَّرَ ثَلاَثًا قَالَ آيِبُونَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ حَامِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا سَاجِدُونَ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ

Whenever Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a Ghazwa or Hajj or ʿUmra, he used to say, "Allahu Akbar," three times; whenever he went up a high place, he used to say, "La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu-l-mulk wa lahu-l-hamd, wa huwa'ala kulli Shai 'in qadir. Ayibuna ta'ibuna 'abiduna lirabbina hamidun. Sadaqa-l-lahu wa'dahu, wa nasaraʿAbdahu wa hazama-l-ahzaba wahdahu."

There is no god but Allah. He is One, there is no partner with Him, His is the sovereignty and His is the praise and He is Potent over everything. (We are) returning, repenting, worshipping, prostrating before our Lord, and we praise Him Allah fulfilled His promise and helped His servant, and routed the confederates alone.

‘Abd Allah bin ‘Umar said “When the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ returned from an expedition, Hajj or ‘Umrah on every rising piece of ground he would say three times “Allaah is Most Great” and he would say “There is no god bt Allaah alone who has no partner, to Whom the dominion belongs, to Whom praise is due, and Who is Omnipotent, serving, prostrating ourselves before our Lord and expressing praise. Allaah alone has kept his word, helped His servant and routed the confederate.

"When the Prophet would come home from a battle, or Hajj, or Umrah, when he was it a tract of land or raised area he would say 'Allahu Akbar (Allah is Most Great)' three times, then say: 'La Ilaha illallah Wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-Hamdu wa Huwa ala kulli shai'in qadir. A'ibuna ta'ibun abidun saa'ihuna li Rabbina Hamiduna, Sadaqallahu wa'dahu wa nasara abdahu wa hazamal-ahzab Wahdah. (None has the right to be worshiped but Allah Alone without partners. To Him belongs the sovereignty and to Him belongs the praise, and He has power over all things. We are returning, repenting, worshipping, traveling for our Lord, and we are praising. Allah has told the truth, and kept His promise and helped His worshipper, and routed the confederates, Alone.'"

when the Messenger of Allah stood on top of As-Safa, he recited the Takbir three times and said: "La ilaha illallah, Wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa huwaala kulli shayin qadir (There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner or associate, His is the dominion and to Him be praise, He gives life and death, and He has power over all things)." He did three times, and supplicated, and did the same a top Al-Marwah. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2972)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا وَقَفَ عَلَى الصَّفَا يُكَبِّرُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَيَدْعُو وَيَصْنَعُ عَلَى الْمَرْوَةِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a military expedition or a hajj or an umra, he used to say three takbirs on every elevated part of the land, and then he used to say, "There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs the Kingdom and to Him belongs the praise and He has power over everything. Returning, making tawba, serving, prostrating, praising our Lord. Allah has promised truly and given His slave victory and defeated the tribes alone."

قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا رَجَعَ مِنْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ فَعَلا فَدْفَدًا مِنَ الأَرْضِ أَوْ قَالَ شَرَفًا قَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ والله أكبر لا إله إلاَّ اله وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وهُو عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبده وهزم الأحزام وحده

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever says 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner or associate. To Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things' ten times, then Allah will graft for him ten good deeds or erase for him ten bad deeds." "And the wording of the hadith is by Abd al-Wahhab."

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ كُنَّ لَهُ بِعِدْلِ عَشَرٍ مُحَرَّرِينَ أَوْ مُحَرَّرٍ» «وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever says in any marketplace: 'There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things,' Allah will write for him a thousand thousand good deeds."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ قَالَ فِي سُوقٍ مِنَ الْأَسْوَاقِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهُ أَلْفَ أَلْفِ حَسَنَةٍ

There is no god but Allah. He is One, there is no partner with Him, His is the sovereignty and His is the praise and He is Potent over everything. (We are) returning, repenting, worshipping, prostrating before our Lord, and we praise Him Allah fulfilled His promise and helped His servant, and routed the confederates alone. [AI] I heard the Prophet (PBUH) say, "Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise. He is the Ever-Living, who does not die. In His hand is all good, and He has power over all things,' intending thereby the face of Allah, Allah will admit him into the gardens of bliss."

سمعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لَا يُرِيدُ بِهَا إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ بِهَا جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

[AI] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would return from a journey, he would pass by Fadfad or Nashaz and make the takbir three times, then he would say: "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things." Then he would say: "We are returning, repenting, worshiping, prostrating to our Lord, praising Him." Allah has fulfilled His promise, assisted His servant, and defeated the confederates alone."

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to say after the prayer: "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things."

‘Abd Allah bin ‘Umar said “When the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ returned from an expedition, Hajj or ‘Umrah on every rising piece of ground he would say three times “Allaah is Most Great” and he would say “There is no god bt Allaah alone who has no partner, to Whom the dominion belongs, to Whom praise is due, and Who is Omnipotent, serving, prostrating ourselves before our Lord and expressing praise. Allaah alone has kept his word, helped His servant and routed the confederate. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2770)

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever says 'There is no deity except Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him is all praise, and He is capable of all things' ten times, they will be rewarded as if they had performed a just action equivalent to freeing ten slaves."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ كُنَّ لَهُ عَدْلَ نَسَمَةٍ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever says 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs the sovereignty, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things' two hundred times, no one will come close to him except for those who have said what he has said or better."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ مِائَتَيْ مَرَّةٍ لَمْ يُدْرِكْهُ أَحَدٌ بَعْدَهُ إِلَّا مَنْ قَالَ مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ أَوْ أَفْضَلَ

[AI] To succeed, say "There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. The Most High, the Great. There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. The Forbearing, the Generous."

أَنْ تَنْجَحَ فَقُلْ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ»

[AI] "He said to my son Ja'far, 'Shall I not tell you a statement that I often tell Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn when you ask Allah for any need and you both want it to be fulfilled? Say: "There is no god but Allah, alone without any partners. He is the Forbearing, the Most Generous. There is no god but Allah, alone without any partners. He is the Most High, the Most Great."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِابْنِي جَعْفَرٍ أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكُمَا حَدِيثًا مَا أُحَدِّثُهُ الْحَسَنَ وَلَا الْحُسَيْنَ إِذَا سَأَلْتُمَا اللهَ حَاجَةً فَأَرَدْتُمَا أَنْ تَنْجَحَا فَقُولَا «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ»

[AI] "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say 'Ta'iboon (those who repent), if Allah wills, we will be worshipping, praising (Him), and seeking forgiveness.' Allah has fulfilled His promise, aided His slave, and defeated the allies alone, when he returned from a Hajj or Umrah or battle."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ أَوْ غَزْوٍ أَوْفَى عَلَى فَدْفَدٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ قَالَ تَائِبُونَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ عَابِدُونَ حَامِدُونَ صَدَقَ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ

"مَنْ قَال: لَا إِلَهَ إِلا الله، وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، كُنَّ لَهُ كَعِدْلِ عَشْرِ رِقَابٍ".

"مَنْ قَال: لا إِلهَ إِلا الله وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لا يُرِيدُ بِهَا إِلا وَجْهَهُ، أَدْخَلَهُ الله بِهَا جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيم".

"مَنْ قَال لا إِلَهَ إِلا الله وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلكُ وَلَهُ الحمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كل شَيءٍ قَدِيرٌ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ، كُنَّ لَهُ بِعِدْلِ عَشْرٍ مُحَررينَ".

"مَنْ قَال: لا إِله إِلا الله، وحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُو عَلَى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌ، كَانَتْ لَهُ كعِدْل مُحَرَّرٍ، أَوْ مُحَرَّرَين".

"لا إِلَهَ إِلا الله، وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لا إِلَهَ إِلا الله وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الأَحْزاب وَحْدَهُ".
