[Machine] Mother to Mubashshir: Read, my son, Mubashshir, the greeting of peace from me. He replied: Ka'b said, "That is not what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The souls of the martyrs are in green birds, hanging wherever they wish.'" She said, "Indeed, I seek forgiveness from Allah." He said, "That is how I heard it."  

الطبراني:١٦٢٣٦حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ ابْنَ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ هَلَكَ فَقَالَتْ

أُمُّ مُبَشِّرٍ أَقْرِئِ ابْنِي مُبَشِّرًا مِنِّي السَّلَامَ فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ لَيْسَ هَكَذَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَرْوَاحُ الشُّهَدَاءِ فِي طَيْرٍ خَضِرٍ تَعْلُقُ حَيْثُ شَاءَتْ» قَالَتْ فَإِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ قَالَ «هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُهُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man who was being held in two handcuffs, and the Prophet ﷺ said to the man, "This is how one should humble himself from arrogance." The man replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Give him what remains of his right."  

الطبراني:١٦٢٣٧حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِهِ وَهُوَ مُلَازِمٌ رَجُلًا فِي أُوقِيَّتَيْنِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلرَّجُلِ «هَكَذَا اتَّضَعَ عَنِ الشَّطْرِ» فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَالَ «أَدِّ إِلَيْهِ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ حَقِّهِ»

[Machine] He informed him that Ibn Abi Hadrad had demanded a debt from him that was owed to him during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the mosque, until their voices were raised and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard them while he was in his house, until he came out to them and the curtains of his room were uncovered until he saw Ka'b and he said, "O Ka'b bin Malik." He said, "At your service, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Take half of your debt." He said, "I have already waived it, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Stand up and settle it."  

الطبراني:١٦٢٣٨حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ثنا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ تَقَاضَى ابْنَ أَبِي حَدْرَدَ دَيْنًا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى ارْتَفَعَتْ أَصْوَاتُهُمَا حَتَّى سَمِعَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ فِي بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمَا فَتَكَشَّفَتْ سُحُفُ حُجْرَتِهِ حَتَّى رَأَى كَعْبًا فَقَالَ «يَا كَعْبُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ» قَالَ لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «ضَعِ الشَّطْرَ مِنْ دَيْنِكِ هَذَا» قَالَ قَدْ وَضَعَتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «قُمْ فَاقْضِهِ»
