23. Chapter of Kāf (Male)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah protect you from rulers who come after me." I asked, "And what is that?" He said, "Those who enter upon them and support them in their lies and aid them in their oppression, they are not of me and I am not of them, and they will not come to my Pond. But those who do not enter upon them, who do not believe in their lies, and who do not support them in their oppression, they are of me and I am of them, and they will come to my Pond."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah protect you from leaders who will come after me." I asked, "What is that?" He said, "Those who enter upon them and believe in their lies, and help them in their injustice, they are not from me and I am not from them, and they will not enter my Pool. But those who do not enter upon them, and do not believe in their lies, and do not help them in their injustice, they are from me and I am from them, and they will enter my Pool."
[Machine] I was carried to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and lice were scattered across my face. He said, "I did not see any pain reach you to this extent. Can you find a sheep?" I said no. He said, "Then fast for three days or feed such and such amount of food to a poor person, for every poor person give half a saa' of wheat."
[Machine] In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. The verse "So whoever among you is ill or has harm (in his hair) from the head must ransom (the fasting) by feeding the poor or offering a sacrifice or giving charity" was revealed. I asked, "What happened to you?" He said, "We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a state of ihram, and lice infested my head, beard, and mustache, until it reached my eyebrows. This was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ, so he said, 'I did not think that it would be difficult for you, so call the barber.' He called the barber and had his head shaved. Then he asked, 'Do you have anything to offer as ransom?' I said, 'No.' He said, 'Then fast for three days or feed six poor people, giving each poor person half a sa' of food.' This verse was revealed specifically for me, but it is general for all people."
I cannot afford it. He then commanded him to observe fasts for three days or feed six needy persons, one sa' for every two needy persons. And Allah the Exalted and Majestic revealed this (verse) particular with regard to him:" So whosoever among you is sick and has an ailment of the head.." ; then (its application) became general for the Muslims. (Using translation from Muslim 1201h)
[Machine] I was prevented from going to Hudaybiyah and 'Ali and I had a lice infestation. So, I shaved my head and the lice fell off. The Prophet ﷺ saw me and said, "Shave it, shave it." So, I shaved it. And he asked me, "Do you have any sacrificial animal with you?" I said, "I cannot find one." He said, "It is only affordable and available to you." I said, "I cannot find one." He said, "Then fast for three days or feed six poor people, giving each one half a sa' of wheat." He said, "This verse was revealed about me, {And whoever among you is ill or has an ailment of the head}. And the wording is from the narration of Ibn Fudayl."
[Machine] "A blind person came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I hear the call to prayer but I do not have a guide.' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'When you hear the call to prayer, respond to the caller of Allah.'"
