23. Chapter of Kāf (Male)
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we have learned how to greet you, so how should we pray for you?" He said, "Say: 'O Allah, send peace and blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent peace and blessings upon Ibrahim. Surely, You are praiseworthy, glorious. And bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim. Surely, You are praiseworthy, glorious."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ saw him while he was in the state of ihram and had plenty of hair. He had lice or dandruff on top of his head, so he said, "Do you find difficulty in performing your rituals?" He replied, "No." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then go, shorten your hair if you wish, or fast for three days, or feed six poor people, giving each of them half a sa of dates between every two poor people."
Ka’ab bin ‘Ujrah said that the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ said to him, If you like sacrifice an animal or if you like fast three days or if you like give three sa’s of dates to six poor people. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1857)
