"The Messenger of ﷺ said: 'When you come to pray, do not come rushing; come walking in a dignified manner, and whatever you catch up with, pray, and whatever you miss, make it up."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 861)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَتَيْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَفَأْتُوهَا بِالْوَقَارِ وَالسَّكِينَةِ فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you come to the prayer, you must bring peace and tranquility. Whatever you catch, then perform the prayer, and whatever you miss, then complete it."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَتَيْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا وَمَا سُبِقْتُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا»  

[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "When the prayer is called, come to it, and upon you is tranquility. Pray what you have caught and what you have missed, then complete it."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَائْتُوهَا وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ فَصَلُّوا مَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ وَمَا سُبِقْتُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا»  

Come to prayer with calmness and tranquility. Then pray the part you get (long with the imam) and complete afterwards the part you miss. Abu Dawud said: Ibn Sirin narrated from Abu Hurairah the words: "he should complete it afterwards." Similarly, Abu Rafi' narrated from Abu Hurairah and Abu Dharr narrated from him the words "then complete it, and complete it afterwards." There is a variation of words in the narration from him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 573)   

"ائتوا الصلاةَ، وعليكم السكينةُ، فصلوا ما أدركتُم، واقضوا ما سبقكُمْ".

"إذا أتيتم الصلاة فأتُوها وعليكم السكينةُ والوقارُ، فما أدركتم فصلُّوا، وما فاتكم فأتموا".  

"منْ أَتَى الصَّلاةَ مِنْكُم فليأتِهَا بِوَقَارٍ وسكِينَة، فليُصلِّ ما أَدركَ وليقْضِ ما فَاتَهُ أَوْ سبقَهُ".
