The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to fast the days of the white (nights): thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth of the month. He said: This is like keeping perpetual fast.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَصُومَ الْبِيضَ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ قَالَ وَقَالَ هُنَّ كَهَيْئَةِ الدَّهْرِ

"Fasting three days of each month is fasting for a lifetime, and the shining days of Al-Bid, the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ صِيَامُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ وَأَيَّامُ الْبِيضِ صَبِيحَةَ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ

"The Messenger of Allah commanded us to fast the three days of Al-Bid, the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth."

أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَصُومَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامِ الْبِيضِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ

"The Messenger of Allah commanded us to fast three days of Al-Bid, the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth."

أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَصُومَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامِ الْبِيضِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ

"I heard Abu Dharr, at Ar-Rabadhah, saying: 'The Messenger of Allah said: if you want to fast at any time during the monthm then fast on the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth."'

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا صُمْتَ شَيْئًا مِنَ الشَّهْرِ فَصُمْ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ

That the Prophet commanded a man to fast on the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ رَجُلاً بِصِيَامِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ

"The Messenger of Allah used to command us to fast the three days with the shining bright nights (Al-Ayam Al-Bid), the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُنَا بِصَوْمِ أَيَّامِ اللَّيَالِي الْغُرِّ الْبِيضِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Fasting three days of every month is fasting for a lifetime, and their sunset is the breaking of the fast."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ وَإِفْطَارُهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting for three days every month is fasting for the entire lifetime, and its reward is equivalent to that of fasting the whole year, and the reward of its breaking the fast."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ وَإِفْطَارُهُ

[AI] Abu Dharr said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed him to fast the white days, which are the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth of each month.

أَبُو ذَرٍّ أَنَا أَمَرَهُرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِصِيَامِ الْبِيضِ الْغُرِّ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting for the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth of every month is fasting for a lifetime, along with its reward for breaking the fast."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ وَإِفْطَارُهُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to fast the white days, which are the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth of each lunar month, and he said, "It is the perpetual fast." "And their wording is one."

قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا صُمْتَ ثَلَاثًا مِنَ الشَّهْرِ فَصُمْ ثَلَاثًا يَعْنِي ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ»

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ commanded a man to fast for thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen [days]." Abu Abdullah bin Rahmah Al-Hakeem Al-Jubair said, "He is not capable [of doing so]."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «أَمَرَ رَجُلًا بِصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَكِيمُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ

"صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّام مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ، وَهِيَ: أَيَّامُ الْبَيضِ - صَبيحَةَ ثَلَاث عَشْرَةَ ورَابعَ عَشْرَة وخَامِس عَشْرةَ".

"صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ من أَرْبعَ عشرة وخَمْسَةَ عَشْرَةَ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ وإِفْطَارُهُ".

"مَنْ صَامَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّام، فَليَصُمْ الثَّلاثَةَ أَيَّامِ البيضِ ثَلاثَةَ عَشْرَ وَأَرْبَعَةَ عَشْرَ وَخَمْسَةَ عَشْرَ".

"عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ الْقَيْسِىِّ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأمُرُنَا أَنْ نَصُومَ الثَّلَاثَ الْبِيضَ: ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ، وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ، وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ، قَالَ: هُوَ كهَيْئَةِ الدَّهْرِ".

"عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلي وَصَفِيَّ أَبُو القَاسِمِ ﷺ بِالوِتْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنَامَ، وَأُصَلِّي الضُّحَى رَكْعَتَينِ، وَأَصُومَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ (ثلاث عشرة؛ وأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ، وَخَمْس عَشْرَةَ) (* *) وَهِيَ البِيضُ".
