The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'When you perform ablution, clean your nose, and when you use pebbles to clean yourself after defecating, use an odd number.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 406)
"إذَا توضَّأتَ فانْتثِرْ، وإذا استجْمَرْتَ فأوْتِرْ".
"When you perform Wudu', sniff water in your nose and blow it out, and when you use small stones (to remove filth), then make it off (numbered)."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَاسْتَنْثِرْ وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرْتَ فَأَوْتِرْ
The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'When you perform ablution, clean your nose, and when you use pebbles to clean yourself after defecating, use an odd number.'"
