He has found the taste of faith (iman) who is content with Allah as his Lord, with Islam as his religion (code of life) and with Muhammad ﷺ as his Prophet.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ ذَاقَ طَعْمَ الإِيمَانِ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولاً

If anyone says "I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion and with Muhammad ﷺ as Apostle" Paradise will be his due.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ الْجَنْبِيَّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولاً وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever is pleased with Allah as (his) Lord, and Islam as (his) religion, and Muhammad as (his) Prophet, then he has tasted the sweetness of faith."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ ذَاقَ طَعْمَ الإِيمَانِ مَنْ رَضِيَ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says when he reaches the evening: “I am pleased with Allah as ˹my˺ Lord, with Islam as ˹my˺ religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as ˹my˺ Prophet," it is a duty upon Allah to please him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُمْسِي: (رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا) كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ۔»

the Prophet (saas) said: "There is no Muslim - or no person, or slave (of Allah) - who says, in the morning and evening: 'Radaytu billahi Rabban wa bil-Islami dinan wa bi Muhammadin nabiyyan (I am content with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet),' but he will have a promise from Allah to make him pleased on the Day of Resurrection."

عَنْ أَبِي سَلاَّمٍ خَادِمِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ أَوْ إِنْسَانٍ أَوْ عَبْدٍ يَقُولُ حِينَ يُمْسِي وَحِينَ يُصْبِحُ رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا إِلاَّ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

A man passed by in the mosque of Hims, and they said, "This is a servant of the Prophet ﷺ." He said: So I went up to him and said, "Tell me a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with no men transmitting it between you and him." He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no Muslim servant who says, when he enters the morning and when he enters the evening, three times:

raḍītu bi-llāhi rabbā, wa-bi-l-islāmi dīnā, wa-bi-muḥammadin ﷺ nabiyyā

(I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as Prophet)

except that it is due from Allah to please him on the Day of Resurrection."

مَرَّ رَجُلٌ فِي مَسْجِدِ حِمْصَ، فَقَالُوا: هَذَا خَادِمُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ. قَالَ: فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِ، فَقُلْتُ: حَدِّثْنِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، لَا يَتَدَاوَلُهُ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ الرِّجَالُ. قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَقُولُ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ وَحِينَ يُمْسِي ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ:

رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ نَبِيًّا،

إِلَّا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ».

AbuSallam told that he was in the mosque of Hims. A man passed him and the people said about him that he served the Prophet ﷺ. He (AbuSallam) went to him and said: Tell me any tradition which you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and there were no man between him and you. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: If anyone says in the morning and in the evening: "I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, with Muhammad as Prophet," Allah will certainly please him. " ذاق طَعْمَ الإِيمانَ مَنْ رَضِىَ باللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالإِسلام دِينًا، وبمحمَّدٍ رَسُولَا" -وفى لفظ- "نبيَّا".

"مَنْ قَال: رَضِيتُ بِالله رَبًّا، وَبِالإِسْلامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا، وَفِي لَفْظِ: رَسُولًا، وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ".

"مَنْ قَال حِينَ يُمْسِي: رَضِيتُ بِالله رَبّا، وَبِالإِسْلامِ دينًا، وَبِمحمَّدٍ نَبِيًا، كَانَ حَقّا عَلى الله أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ".
