“Jibra’il came to me and told me to command my Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah.”

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ آمُرَ أَصْحَابِي أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالإِهْلاَلِ

“Jibril came to me and said: ‘O Muhammad! Tell your Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah, for it is one of the symbols of Hajj.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ فَلْيَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ شِعَارِ الْحَجِّ

Yahya related to me from Malik from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm from Abd al-Malik ibn Abi Bakr ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham from Khallad ibn as-Sa'ib al-Ansari from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Jibril came to me and told me to tell my companions, or whoever was with me, to raise their voices when doing talbiya."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ آمُرَ أَصْحَابِي أَوْ مَنْ مَعِي أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ أَوْ بِالإِهْلاَلِ يُرِيدُ أَحَدَهُمَا

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Gabriel came to me and said, 'Command your companions to raise their voices with Takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) at the beginning of the lunar crescent sighting.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَقَالَ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ فَلْيَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ

“Jibril came to me and said: ‘O Muhammad! Tell your Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah, for it is one of the symbols of Hajj.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2923)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ فَلْيَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ شَعَائِرِ الْحَجِّ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Gabriel came to me and said, "Order your companions or those with you to raise their voices with the talbiyah or with the pronouncement of 'Al-Ihlaal'."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ أَوْ مَنْ مَعَكَ أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ أَوْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ said: Gabriel came to me and said, "Tell your companions to raise their voices in pronouncing the Takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar), the Tasbeeh (saying Subhan Allah), and the Talbiyah (saying Labbayk Allahumma labbayk). It has been narrated that Khalad ibn Sa'ib reported from Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ وَالتَّلْبِيَةِ وَقَدْ قِيلَ عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيٍّ

“Jibril came to me and said: ‘O Muhammad! Tell your Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah, for it is one of the symbols of Hajj.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2923)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ فَلْيَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شِعَارِ الْحَجِّ»

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said: Gabriel ﷺ came to me and said: Command your companions to elevate their voices during the call to prayer or during saying 'Takbeer'."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ ﷺ فَقَالَ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ أَوْ قَالَ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ

“Jibril came to me and said: ‘O Muhammad! Tell your Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah, for it is one of the symbols of Hajj.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2923)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ لِي يَا مُحَمَّدُ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ فَلْيَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ شِعَارِ الْحَجِّ

“Jibril came to me and said: ‘O Muhammad! Tell your Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah, for it is one of the symbols of Hajj.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2923)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ فَلْيَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ شِعَارِ الْحَجِّ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Gabriel came to me and said, 'Allah commands you to instruct your companions to raise their voices with the Talbiyah, as it is a slogan of Hajj."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَأْمُرَ أَصْحَابَكَ أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ شِعَارِ الْحَجِّ

"Jibril came to me and said: 'O Muhammad! Tell your Companions to rise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2753)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ لِي يَا مُحَمَّدُ مُرْ أَصْحَابَكَ أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ

"أتانى جبريلُ فقال: إنَّ الله يأمُرُك أن تأَمر أصحابك أن يرفعوا أصواتهم بالتلبية ".

Khalid ibn as-Sa'ib al-Ansari on his father's authority reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Gabriel came to me and commanded me to order my Companions to raise their voices in talbiyah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1814)

"أتانى جبريلُ فأمرنى أن آمر أصحابى ومن معى أن يرفعوا أصواتَهم بالتَّلبيةِ" .

"أتانى جبريلُ فقال لى: إن الله يأمرك أن تأمر أصحابكَ أن يرفعوا أصواتهم بالتّلبيةِ، فإنَّها من شعائر الحجِّ".
