أَنْ نَقْرَأَ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا تَيَسَّرَ
"The Prophet recited Fatihatil-Kitab for a funeral (prayer)." (Da'if Jiddan)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet ﷺ recited the Opening of the Book (Al-Fatihah) in the funeral prayer.
