[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite the opening chapter of the book on funeral prayers.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ»
"The Prophet recited Fatihatil-Kitab for a funeral (prayer)." (Da'if Jiddan)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أُمِّ شَرِيكٍ
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet ﷺ recited the Opening of the Book (Al-Fatihah) in the funeral prayer.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to recite the Opening of the Book (Al-Fatihah) in the funeral prayer.”
أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَقْرَأَ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the takbeer four times over our funeral processions and recite the opening chapter of the Quran in the first takbeer."
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ عَلَى جَنَائِزِنَا أَرْبَعًا وَيَقْرَأُ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ فِي التَّكْبِيرَةِ الْأُولَى»
[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "The seven repeatedly-recited verses (Al-Fatiha) are the opening of the Book."
