ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ قَدْحِ الْمَرْءِ الْمَوْتَى بِمَا يَعْلَمُ مِنْ مَسَاوِئِهِمْ

ibnhibban:3018 – Muḥammad b. ʿUbaydullāh b. al-Faḍl al-Kalāʿī Biḥimṣ > Kathīr b. ʿUbayd al-Madhḥijī > Muḥammad b. Yūsuf > Sufyān > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

When your companion dies, leave him and do not revile him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4899)   

ابن حبّان:٣٠١٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْكَلَاعِيُّ بِحِمْصَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْمَذْحِجِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ لاَ تَقَعُوا فِيهِ  

darimi:2306 – Muḥammad b. Yūsuf > Sufyān > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The best of you is the best to his wives, and I am the best of you to my wives, and when your companion dies, leave him alone." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3895)   

الدارمي:٢٣٠٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ وَإِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ»

ibnhibban:3019 – Aḥmad

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ»
