ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحُ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ

ibnhibban:3019 – Aḥmad

When your companion dies, leave him and do not revile him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4899)

ابن حبّان:٣٠١٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الصُّوفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ وَوَكِيعٌ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ لاَ تَقَعُوا فِيهِ

darimi:2306 – Muḥammad b. Yūsuf > Sufyān > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The best of you are those who are best to their families, and when your companion dies, then leave him be.”

الدارمي:٢٣٠٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ وَإِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ»

ذِكْرُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الِاقْتِدَاءِ بِالْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ لِلْمَرْءِ فِي الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَى عِيَالِهِ إِذْ كَانَ خَيْرُهُمْ خَيْرَهُمْ لَهُنَّ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The best of you is the one who is best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family; and when your companion dies, then leave him.”
