adab:801 –

Anas ibn Malik said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to often say, 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You from worry, sorrow, incapacity, laziness, cowardice, avarice, being overburdened by debt and being overcome by other men.'"  

الأدب المفرد:٨٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَ

bukhari:6367 – Musaddad > al-Muʿtamir from my father > Anas b. Mālik

Allah's Prophet used to say, "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and geriatric old age, and seek refuge with You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge with You from the afflictions of life and death."  

البخاري:٦٣٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ يَقُولُ كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ  

bukhari:6369 – Khālid b. Makhlad > Sulaymān > ʿAmr b. Abū ʿAmr > Anas

The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by (other) men." (See Hadith No. 374)  

البخاري:٦٣٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا قَالَ

nasai:5449 – ʿAlī b. al-Mundhir > Ibn Fuḍayl > Muḥammad b. Isḥāq > al-Minhāl b. ʿAmr > Anas b. Mālik

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] had supplications that he never omitted to recite. He used to say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi, wal-hazani, wal-'ajzi, wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-jubni, wa ghalabatar-rijal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from worry, grief, incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice and being overpowered by (other) men.)"  

النسائي:٥٤٤٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنِ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَعَوَاتٌ لاَ يَدَعُهُنَّ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ  

nasai:5476 – Aḥmad b. Ḥarb > al-Qāsim / Ibn Yazīd al-Jarmī > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > ʿAmr b. Abū ʿAmr > Anas b. Mālik

"The Prophet [SAW] used to say: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal hazani, wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-jubni, wa dala'id-dain, wa ghalabatir-rijal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from worry, grief, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, difficult debt and being overpowered by men.)'"

“I used to often hear the Prophet ﷺ supplicating with these words: ‘O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sadness, grief, helplessness, laziness, being stingy, overwhelming debt, and the overpowering of men (Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazani wal-ʿajzi wal-kasali wal-bukhli wa ḍalaʿid-dain wa ghalabatir-rijāl).’”  

الترمذي:٣٤٨٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ قَالَ كَثِيرًا مَا كُنْتُ

أَسْمَعُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهَؤُلاَءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
