The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer praying two rak'ahs. When he stood up and did not sit (at the end of two rak'ahs) the people stood up along with him. When he finished the prayer and we expect him to give the salutation, he said: "Allah is most great." While sitting and made two prostrations before giving the salutation. Then he gave it.

Messenger of Allah ﷺ once led us in a prayer and offered two rakʿat and got up (for the third rakʿa) without sitting (after the second rakʿa). The people also got up with him, and when he was about to finish his prayer, we waited for him to finish the prayer with Taslim but he said Takbir before Taslim and performed two prostrations while sitting and then finished the prayer with Taslim.

Once Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer, and after finishing the first two rakʿat, got up (instead of sitting for at-Tahiyyat) and then carried on with the prayer. When he had finished his prayer, the people were waiting for him to say Taslim, but before saying Tasiim, he said Takbir and prostrated; then he raised his head, and saying Takbir, he prostrated (SAHU) and then raised his head and finished his prayer with Taslim.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us two rak'ahs of prayer in one of the (obligatory) prayers and then got up and did not sit. and the people stood up along with him. When he finished the prayer and we expected him to pronounce salutation. he said:" Allah is Most Great" while sitting and made two prostrations before salutation and then pronounced (the, final) salutation.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from al-Araj that Abdullah ibn Buhayna said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two rakas with us and then stood without sitting and the people stood with him. When he had finished the prayerand we had seen him say the taslim, he said 'Allah is greater' and did two sajdas from the sitting position and then said the taslim again."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from Abd ar- Rahman ibn Hurmuz that Abdullah ibn Buhayna said, "The Messengerof Allah ﷺ prayed dhuhr with us and he stood straight up after two rakas without sitting. When he had finished the prayer, he did two sajdas and then said the taslim after that." Malik said, concerning someone who forgot in his prayer and stood up after he had completed four rakas and recited and then went into ruku and then, when he raised his head from ruku, remembered that he had already completed (his prayer), "He returns to a sitting position and does not do any sajda. If he has already done one sajda I do not think he should do the other. Then when his prayer is finished he does two sajdas from the sitting position after saying the taslim."

البيهقي:٣٨٤٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ كَامِلُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمُسْتَمْلِيُّ أنبأ بِشْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْإِسْفَرَايِينِيُّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ قَالَ

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

"صَلَّى بنَا رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إِحْدَى صَلَاتِى الْعَشِىِّ، فَقامَ في رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَلَمْ يَجْلسْ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِى آخر صَلَاتِهِ انْتَظرنَا أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ مَعَنَا، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ التَّسْليم، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ".
