Messenger of Allah ﷺ once led us in a prayer and offered two rakʿat and got up (for the third rakʿa) without sitting (after the second rakʿa). The people also got up with him, and when he was about to finish his prayer, we waited for him to finish the prayer with Taslim but he said Takbir before Taslim and performed two prostrations while sitting and then finished the prayer with Taslim.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us two rak'ahs of prayer in one of the (obligatory) prayers and then got up and did not sit. and the people stood up along with him. When he finished the prayer and we expected him to pronounce salutation. he said:" Allah is Most Great" while sitting and made two prostrations before salutation and then pronounced (the, final) salutation.

صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in praying two rak'ahs, then he stood up and did not sit, and the people stood up with him. When he finished the prayer, and we were waiting for him to say the taslim, he said the takbir and prostrated twice while sitting, before the taslim. Then he said the taslim."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the Dhuhr prayer and then stood for the first two Rak'ahs (units of prayer). He did not sit until his last prayer. Then he prostrated for two prostrations before he said the Tasleem (ending prayer).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ فَقَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَقْعُدْ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ صَلَاتِهِ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

"صَلَّى بنَا رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إِحْدَى صَلَاتِى الْعَشِىِّ، فَقامَ في رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَلَمْ يَجْلسْ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِى آخر صَلَاتِهِ انْتَظرنَا أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ مَعَنَا، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ التَّسْليم، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ".
