Messenger of Allah ﷺ once led us in a prayer and offered two rakʿat and got up (for the third rakʿa) without sitting (after the second rakʿa). The people also got up with him, and when he was about to finish his prayer, we waited for him to finish the prayer with Taslim but he said Takbir before Taslim and performed two prostrations while sitting and then finished the prayer with Taslim.  

أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ  

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in praying two rak'ahs, then he stood up and did not sit, and the people stood up with him. When he finished the prayer, and we were waiting for him to say the taslim, he said the takbir and prostrated twice while sitting, before the taslim. Then he said the taslim."

When he finished the prayer and we expect him to give the salutation, he said: "Allah is most great." While sitting and made two prostrations before giving the salutation. Then he gave it.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from al-Araj that Abdullah ibn Buhayna said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two rakas with us and then stood without sitting and the people stood with him. When he had finished the prayerand we had seen him say the taslim, he said 'Allah is greater' and did two sajdas from the sitting position and then said the taslim again."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us two rak'ahs of prayer in one of the (obligatory) prayers and then got up and did not sit. and the people stood up along with him. When he finished the prayer and we expected him to pronounce salutation. he said:" Allah is Most Great" while sitting and made two prostrations before salutation and then pronounced (the, final) salutation. (Using translation from Muslim 570a)   

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ ثُمَّ قَامَ وَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed one of my evening prayers, and he stood up for the two units of prayer without sitting. When he was in his last prayer, we waited for his tasleem - that is, for him to say the tasleem - and he prostrated twice before saying the tasleem, then he said the tasleem.  

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِحْدَى صَلَاتِي الْعِشَاءِ فَقَامَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ صَلَاتِهِ انْتَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ أَيْ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ وَنَظَرْنَا تَسْلِيمَهُ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ قَبْلَ التَّسْلِيمِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ  

"صَلَّى بنَا رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إِحْدَى صَلَاتِى الْعَشِىِّ، فَقامَ في رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَلَمْ يَجْلسْ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِى آخر صَلَاتِهِ انْتَظرنَا أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ مَعَنَا، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ التَّسْليم، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ".
