When any one of you observes the Jumu'a prayer (two obligatory rak'ahs in congregation), he should observe four (rak'ahs) afterwards.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيُصَلِّ بَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعًا

When any one amongst you observes prayer after Jumu'a, he should observe four rak'ahs. (In the hadith transmitted by Jarir the word minkum is not recorded.)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مُصَلِّيًا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ مِنْكُمْ

Salim narrated on the authority of his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to observe two rak'ahs after Jumu'a.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray two rak'ahs in his house after the Friday prayer. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been transmitted in a similar way by 'Abd Allah b. Dinar from Ibn 'Umar.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ

"The Prophet would pray two Rak'ah after Al-Witr."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

from the Prophet ﷺ: he used to pray two rakahs after the Friday prayer.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever among you prays after Friday (prayer), let him pray four (rakahs).”

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مُصَلِّيًا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When any one of you prays Jumu'ah let him pray four (rak'ahs) after that.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيُصَلِّ بَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعًا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not pray after Jumu'ah until he had left, then he would pray two rak'ahs. (Sahih)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ لاَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray two rak'ahs in his house after Jumu'ah."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فِي بَيْتِهِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do this."

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ يُطِيلُ فِيهِمَا وَيَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ

It was narrated from Salim, from his father, that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray two Rak’ah after Jumu’ah.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘If you pray after Friday, then pray four (Rak’ah).’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مُصَلِّيًا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا»

Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever among you is to pray after the Friday prayer, then let him pray four." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 523)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مُصَلِّيًا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ من كان مصليا بعد الجمعة فليصل أربعا

[AI] Ibn Mas'ud used to not pray before it and pray four Rak'ahs after it.

«أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي قَبْلَهَا وَيُصَلِّي بَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ»

[AI] Ibn Mas'ud used to pray four or eight rak'ahs after it, and he would not pray before it.

أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ «كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَهَا أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ أَوْ ثَمَانٍ وَكَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي قَبْلَهَا»

[AI] Ibn Mas'ud used to pray four (rak'ahs) after the two Eids.

«كَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْعِيدَيْنِ أَرْبَعًا»

[AI] It means "He used to pray four units after the two Eids".

أَنَّهُ «كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْعِيدَيْنِ أَرْبَعًا»

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray two short Rak’ah after Witr, sitting down. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1195)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ»

Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever among you is to pray after the Friday prayer, then let him pray four." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 523)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ لَا يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ فَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do this." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1429)

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ يُطِيلُ فِيهِمَا وَيَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ

"إذا صلَّى أحَدُكُمْ الجُمُعَةَ فْليُصَلِّ بعدَها أرْبعًا" .

"مَنْ كان مُصَلِّيًا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ، فلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا".

"مَنْ كان مُصَلِّيًا بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبعًا، فإِنْ عَجَّلَ بأَحَد مِنْكُمْ حَاجَةٌ فلْيُصَلِّ رَكْعَتينِ".

"أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّى بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ".

"كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ فِى بَيْتِهِ".
