I went to visit ʿAbdullah bin ʿUmar at his house which contained many tents made of cotton cloth and these were encircled with Suradik (part of the tent). I asked him from where, should one assume Ihram for Umra. He said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ had fixed as Miqat (singular of Mawaqit) Qarn for the people of Najd, Dhul-Hulaifa for the people of Medina, and Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham."

the Messenger of Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah Al-Juhfah for the people of Najd, and Yalmlam for the people of Yemen. He said: "They are for them, and for anyone who comes to them from elsewhere. If a person's place of residence is within the boundary of the Miqat, then (he should enter into Ihram) from where he starts his journey, and this also applies to the people of Makkah.''(Sihah)

The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) appointed the following places for putting on Ihram : Dhul al-Hulaifah for the people of Madina, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria and al-Qarn for the people of Najd and have been told that appointed Yalamlam for the people of Yemen.

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The mohall (grazing area) of the people of Madinah is Dhi'l-Hulayfah, and the mohall of the people of the other path is Al-Juhfah, and the mohall of the people of Iraq is Dhat 'Irq, and the mohall of the people of Najd is Qarn, and the mohall of the people of Yemen is Yalamlam."

وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَقَالَ هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثُ حَفِظْتُهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَحُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ الْعِرَاقُ قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ عِرَاقٌ

"The people of Al-Madinah should enter into Ihram from Dhul-Hulaifah, the people of Ash-sham from Al-Juhfah, the people of Najd from Qarn." The Messenger of Allah (SWAS) appointed the following places for putting on Ihram : Dhul al-Hulaifah for the people of Madina, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria and al-Qarn for the people of Najd and have been told that appointed Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. الدارمي:١٨٣١أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

He also allocated a time for the people of Ta'if, which is in Najd region, and for the people of Iraq, specifically those from the Arab ethnic group."
