[Machine] The Messenger of Allahﷺ said: "The people of Madinah will perform Ihram from Dhi'l-Hulayfah, the people of Sham (Greater Syria) will perform Ihram from al-Juhfah, the people of Yemen will perform Ihram from Yalamlam, and the people of Najd will perform Ihram from Qarn. As for the women, they will perform Ihram from their homes, and this applies to anyone who comes to them for Hajj or Umrah. And whoever's house is beyond the miqat (specified boundary for Ihram), then he should perform Ihram from his house until he comes to the people of Makkah, as I have performed Ihram from Yalamlam when I came from 'Abdul-Razzaq's place."  

أحمد:٣٠٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ مَرَّةً عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقُلْتُ لِمَعْمَرٍ لَمْ يَكُنْ يُجَاوِزُ بِهِ طَاوُسًا؟ فَقَالَ بَلَى هُوَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ ثُمَّ سَمِعَهُ يَذْكُرُهُ بَعْدُ وَلَا يَذْكُرُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ وَهُنَّ لَهُنَّ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِمَّنْ سِوَاهُمْ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ وَمَنْ كَانَ بَيْتُهُ مِنْ دُونِ الْمِيقَاتِ فَإِنَّهُ يُهِلُّ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ عَلَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ قَدْ أَحْرَمْتُ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ حِينَ جِئْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ specified Dhu'l-Hulaifa, for the people of Medina; Juhfa for the people of Syria; Qarn al-Manazil, for the people of Najd; Yalamlam for the people of Yemen (the Mawaqit) and those (Mawaqit) are also meant for those who live at these (places) and for those too who come from without towards them for the sake of Hajj or 'Umra. And those who live within them (within the bounds of these places) or in the suburbs of Mecca or within Mecca, they should enter upon the state of Ihram at these very places.  

مسلم:١١٨١a – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى وَخَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ وَأَبُو الرَّبِيعِ وَقُتَيْبَةُ جَمِيعًا عَنْ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنَ الْمَنَازِلِ وَلأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ قَالَ فَهُنَّ لَهُنَّ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِنَّ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَهُنَّ فَمِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَكَذَا فَكَذَلِكَ حَتَّى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ يُهِلُّونَ مِنْهَا

These are (Mawaqit) of them too (who live there) and everyone who comes from outside (through) their (directions) for the sake of Hajj and 'Umra and for those who live within (those bounds their Miqat is that) from which they commenced (their journey), and for the people of Mecca, Mecca itself is (the Miqat).

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah, Al-Juhfah for the people of Ash-shamham, Yalmlam for the people of Yemen, and Qarn for the people of Najd. They are for them and for those who pass by them who are not of their people, intending to perform Hajj or 'Umrah. If a person's place of residence is within the boundary of they Miqat, then (he should enter Ihram) from where he starts his journey, and this also applies to the people of Makkah.  

النسائي:٢٦٥٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنَ الْمَنَازِلِ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ هُنَّ لِأَهْلِهِنَّ وَلِكُلِّ آتٍ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِهِنَّ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ وَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَ ذَلِكَ فَمِنْ حَيْثُ أَنْشَأَ حَتَّى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ»

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , designated the time of arrival for the people of Madinah at Dhul-Hulayfah, for the people of Sham at Juhfah, for the people of Najd at Qarn, and for the people of Yemen at Yalamlam. And whoever arrives from wherever they come, intending to perform Hajj or Umrah, should enter the state of Ihram from their current location until the people of Makkah from Makkah."  

الطبراني:١٠٩١١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ الشَّامِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَا ثنا وُهَيْبٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ لِأَهْلِهِنَّ وَلِمَنْ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهِنَّ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَ ذَلِكَ فَمِنْ حَيْثُ أَنْشَأَ حَتَّى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ»

"The Messenger of 'Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah, Al-Juhfah for the people of Ash-sham, Qarn for the people of Najd, and Yalamalam for the people of Yemen. He aid: "They are for them and for those who pass by them who are not of their people who intend to perform Hajj and 'Umrah. If a person's place of residence is within the boundary of the Miqat, then (he should enter into Ihram) from where he starts his journey, and this also applies to the people of Makkah.'' وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ قَالَ هِيَ لَهُمْ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ سِوَاهُنَّ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ ثُمَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ بَدَأَ مَا يَبْلُغُ ذَلِكَ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ

The Prophet ﷺ fixed Dhul-Hulaifa as the Miqat for the people of Medina, Al-Juhfa, for the people of Sham, Yalamlam for the people of Yemen, and Qarn for the people of Najd. And these Mawaqit are for those living at those very places, and besides them for those who come through those places with the intention of performing Hajj and Umra; and whoever is living inside these places can assume lhram from his own dwelling place, and the people of Mecca can assume lhram from Mecca. الكبرى للنسائي:٣٦٢٤ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا فَهِيَ لَهُمْ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِنَّ مِمَّنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَهُنَّ فَمِنْ أَهْلِهِ حَتَّى إِنَّ أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ يُهِلُّونَ مِنْهَا»

البيهقي:٨٩٢١ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيٌّ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثنا مُوسَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ ثنا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
