كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا انْصَرَفَ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ اسْتَغْفَرَ ثَلاَثًا وَقَالَ: (اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلاَمُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلاَمُ، تَبَارَكْتَ ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ۔)
قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ: فَقُلْتُ لِلأَوْزَاعِيِّ: كَيْفَ الاِسْتِغْفَارُ؟ قَالَ تَقُولُ: (أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ)۔
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pronounced salutation, he salutation longer than it took him to say: O Allah: Thou art Peace, and peace comes from Thee, blessed art Thou, Possessor of Glory and ]Honour; and in the narration of Ibn Numair the words are:" O Possessor of Glory and Honour."

When the Prophet ﷺ uttered taslim, he used to say: "O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity."
