"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth."

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

“Indeed Allah has made unlawful through suckling whatever He made unlawful through birth.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا حَرَّمَ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

"What becomes unlawful (for marriage) through breast-feeding is that which becomes unlawful through lineage."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Abdullah and Hasan, the sons of Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib from their ather, mayAllah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade temporary marriage with women and the flesh of domestic donkeys on the Day of Khaybar.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ وَعَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الإِنْسِيَّةِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Sulayman ibn Yasar and from Urwa ibn az-Zubayr from A'isha umm al- muminin, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, " What is haram by birth is haram by suckling."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1937)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ he said: 'What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by breastfeeding.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by breastfeeding.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: What is unlawful by reason of consanguinity is unlawful by reason of fosterage. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2055)

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ

"أَمَا علمتَ أن اللهَ تعالى حرَّمَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَة مثلَ ما حرَّمَ من النَّسَب؟ ".

"What becomes unlawful (for marriage) through breast-feeding is that which becomes unlawful through lineage." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3302)

"إِنَّ الله ﷻ حرَّم مِن الرضاع مَا حَرَّمَ مِن النَّسَبِ".

"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth." (Using translation from Muslim 1444b)

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى حَرَّمَ مِنَ الرضاعةِ ما حَرَّم من الولَادَة".
