Ibn 'Umar reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should make a man rise from his seat and then sit in it. Rather make room and spread out."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لاَ يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا

Ibn 'Umar said, "The Prophet ﷺ forbade anyone forcing a man to rise from his seat so that someone else could sit in his place."

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يُقِيمَ الرَّجُلَ مِنَ الْمَجْلِسِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A man should not make another man get up from his (the latter's) seat (in a gathering) in order to sit there.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

None of you should make another one stand in the meeting and then occupy his place.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

No person should ask another person to stand at his place and then he should himself sit there, but he should simply say: Make room and accommodate.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَقْعَدِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Let one of you not have his brother stand from his seat then sit in it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person should not push his brother out of his place and then sit in it, rather you should make room and expand."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ يَعْنِي أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person should not prevent another person from sitting in his gathering, but rather make room and expand."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ فَيَجْلِسَ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man should not make another man leave his seat and then sit in it himself, but rather make room and accommodate each other."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ عَنْ مَقْعَدِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Two individuals should not engage in private conversations excluding a third individual, and a man should not get up from his gathering and then sit in it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ ثَالِثِهِمَا وَلَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "A man should not get up from his brother's assembly, rather make space and Allah will make space for you."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَقُومُ الرَّجُلُلِلرَّجُلِ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ وَلَكِنْ أَفْسِحُوا يَفْسَحِ اللهُ لَكُمْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a man gets up from his sitting position and then returns, he has more right to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْمَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "No man should get up from his seat for another man, but you all should make room so that Allah will make room for you."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَقُومُ الرَّجُلُ لِلرَّجُلِ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ وَلَكِنْ أَفْسِحُوا يَفْسَحِ اللهُ لَكُمْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "A person should not make another person stand up from his place and then sit in it, but rather make room, and Allah will make room for you."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ افْسَحُوا يَفْسَحِ اللهُ لَكُمْ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited one person from sitting in the place of another person, but rather make space and expand."

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُقِيمَ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَقْعَدِهِ فَيَقْعُدَ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ تَفَسَّحُوا وَتَوَسَّعُوا»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ رَجُلًا مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُقِيمَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ لِيَجْلِسَ فِي مَكَانِهِ»

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "A man should not get up from his seat and then sit in it again."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ

"إذا قامَ لكَ رجُلٌ مِنْ مَجلِسِه فلا تجلس ولا تَمْسحْ يديكَ بثوب مَنْ لا تَمِلكُ".

"لا يَقُومُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ إِلا لِبَنِي هَاشِمٍ".

"لا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ".

"لا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْعُد فِيهِ، وَلَا تَمْسَحْ يَدَكَ بِثَوْبِ مَنْ لَا تَمْلِكُ".

"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: كَرِهَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ أَنْ يُقَامَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ فَيَجْلِس فِيهِ آخَرُ، ولَكِنْ يَقُولُ: تَفَسَّحُوا تَوَسَّعُوا".
