[AI] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are on a barren land, so what should we do?" He (the Prophet) said, "It has reached me that a nation from the Children of Israel was transformed into animals. I do not know which animals they were, so I cannot command or forbid anything."

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ مَضَبَّةٍ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ أُمَّةً مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُسِخَتْ دَوَابَّ فَمَا أَدْرِي أَيُّ الدَّوَابِّ هِيَ؟ فَلَمْ يَأْمُرْ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ

[AI] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are living in a barren land, what do you command us to do?" He replied, "I have been informed that a nation from the children of Israel were transformed into animals, but I do not know which animals they were." He did not give any command or prohibition.

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ مُضِبَّةٍ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا؟ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ أُمَّةً مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُسِخَتْ دَوَابَّ فَلَا أَدْرِي أَيُّ الدَّوَابِّ هِيَ؟ قَالَ فَلَمْ يَأْمُرْ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ came across a Bedouin while he was giving a sermon, so the Prophet interrupted his sermon and asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what can you tell me about the lizard?" The Prophet replied, "It is a nation that has been transformed from the Banu Isra'il (Children of Israel), but I do not know which of the animals they have been transformed into."

أَتَى نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْرَابِيٌّ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَطَعَ عَلَيْهِ خُطْبَتَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ تَقُولُ فِيالضَّبِّ؟ قَالَ أُمَّةٌ مُسِخَتْ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَلَا أَدْرِي أَيَّ الدَّوَابِّ مُسِخَتْ؟

[AI] An Arab man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was delivering a sermon, but he interrupted him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about the mist?" He replied, "A nation from the Children of Israel was transformed, so only Allah knows which animal they were transformed into."

سَأَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَطَعَ عَلَيْهِ خُطْبَتَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الضِّبَابِ؟ فَقَالَ مُسِخَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ فِي أَيِّ الدَّوَابِّ مُسِخَتْ

[AI] An Arab man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about the lizard?" He replied, "A nation from the Children of Israel was transformed into lizards, and I do not know which specific species of lizard was transformed, nor am I commanded to do anything regarding them or to prohibit them."

أَتَى أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الضبِ؟ فَقَالَ «مُسِخَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا أَدْرِي أَيَّ الدَّوَابِّ مُسِخَتْ وَلَا آمُرُ بِهِ وَلَا أَنْهَى عَنْهُ»

سَأَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَطَعَ عَلَيْهِ خُطْبَتَهُ فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الضِّبَابِ؟ قَالَ «مُسِخَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اللهُ أَعْلَمُ فِي أَيِّ الدَّوَابِّ مُسِخَتْ»

[AI] An Arab man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "What do you say about mist?" He replied, "A nation of the Children of Israel were turned into monkeys, so Allah knows best which of the animals were turned into monkeys."

سَأَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَا تَقُولُ فِي الضِّبَابِ؟ فَقَالَ «مُسِخَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ أَيُّ الدَّوَابِّ مُسِخَتْ»

"بَلَغَنى أَنَّ أُمَّةً مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائيل مُسِخَت دَوَّابَّ , فَلَا أَدْرِى أيَّ الدَّوَابِّ هِي".

"مُسخَتْ أُمةٌ منْ بني إِسْرائيل، اللهُ (*) أَعْلَمُ من أَيِّ الدوابِّ مُسَختْ".

"عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: أُتِى النبىُّ ﷺ بِضَبٍّ، فَقَالَ: إنَّ أُمَّةً مُسِخَتْ دَوَابَّ في الأَرْضِ، فَلَمْ يَأمُرْ بِهِ، ولم يَنْهَ عَنْهُ".

"عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُب أَنَّ أَعْرَابيّا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ عَنِ الضَّبِّ فَقَطَعَ عَلَيْهِ خُطْبَتَهُ، فَقَالَ: يَارَسُولَ الله مَا تَقُولُ فِى الضِّبَابِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أُمَّةً مِنْ بَنِى إِسْرَائِيلَ مُسِخَتْ، والله أَعْلَمُ أَىّ الدَّوَابِّ مُسِخَتْ".

"أَتَى أَعْرَابِىٌّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله مَا تَقُولُ في الضَّبِ؟ فَقَالَ: مُسِخَتْ أُمَّةٌ منْ بَنِى إِسْرائيلَ لا أَدْرِى أَىُّ الدَّوَابِ مُسخَتْ، وَلا آمُرُ بِهِ وَلا أَنْهَى عَنْهُ".
