"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'There is no heart that is not between two of the Fingers of the Most Merciful. If He wills, He guides it and if He wills, He sends it astray.' The Messenger of Allah used to say: 'O You Who makes hearts steadfast make our hearts steadfast in adhering to Your religion.' And he said: 'The Scale is in the Hand of the Most Merciful; He will cause some peoples to rise and others to fall until the day of Resurrection.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ قَلْبٍ إِلاَّ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَقَامَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَزَاغَهُ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَا مُثَبِّتَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قُلُوبَنَا عَلَى دِينِكَ قَالَ وَالْمِيزَانُ بِيَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَرْفَعُ أَقْوَامًا وَيَخْفِضُ آخَرِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Every heart is between two fingers of the fingers of the Most Merciful. He directs it as He wills. If He wants to establish it, He establishes it, and if He wants to mislead it, He misleads it." He also used to say, "O Turner of the hearts, make our hearts steadfast on Your religion. The scale is in the hand of the Most Merciful, He lowers it and raises it."

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The scale is in the hand of Allah, He lifts some people and lowers others, and the heart of the son of Adam is between two fingers of the fingers of the Most Merciful. He turns it as He wills. If He wills, He misguides it, and if He wills, He keeps it steadfast."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمِيزَانُ بِيَدِ اللهِ يَرْفَعُ أَقْوَامًا وَيَضَعُ قَوْمًا وَقَلَبُ ابْنِ آدَمَ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَزَاغَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَقَامَهُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently say, "O Turner of hearts, keep my heart steadfast on your religion." So, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, why do you frequently make this supplication?" He replied, "O Umm Salamah, surely the heart of the son of Adam is between two fingers of the fingers of the Most Merciful. He turns it in the direction He wills."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ «يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا أَكْثَرَ مَا تَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ؟ فَقَالَ «يَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ إِنَّ قَلْبَ ابْنِ آدَمَ بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ إِذَا شَاءَ أَقَامَهُ وَإِذَا شَاءَ أَزَاغَهُ»

"الموازين بيد اللهِ يرفع قومًا ويضعُ قومًا، وقلبُ ابنِ آدمَ بين أُصْبُعَينِ من أَصابع الرحمن إِذا شاءَ أَزاغه وإذا شاءَ أَقامه ".

"الميزانُ بيدِ الله، يَرفعُ قومًا، ويَضعُ قومًا، وقَلبُ ابن آدم بَينَ أُصبعين من أصابِع الرَّبِّ ﷻ إِذَا شَاءَ أزَاغَهُ، وإذا شاءَ أقامه".

"مَا مِنْ آدَميٍّ إِلا قَلبُهُ بَينَ إِصْبُعَين من أصَابع الرَّحمَنِ، إِنْ شَاءَ أن يُزْلِقَه أزَاغه، وإنْ شَاءَ أن يُقِيمَه أقَامَه، وَكُلّ يَوْم الميزانُ بيد اللهِ، يَرْفَع أقْوَامًا وَيَضَعُ آخَرِين إِلى يَوْمِ القيامةِ".

"مَا مِنْ قلب إِلا وَهُو مُعلّقٌ بين إصْبُعينِ مِنْ أَصَابع الرحمنِ إِنْ شاءَ أَقامَهُ، وَإِنْ شاءَ أَزاغهُ وَالميزانُ بيَد الرّحمنِ يرفعُ أَقْوَاما ويَضعُ آخَرِينَ إِلى يَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ".

" عَنِ النَّواسِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَا مِنْ قَلْبٍّ إِلَّا وَهُوَ بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِع رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، إِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُقِيمَهُ أَقَامَهُ، وإنْ شَاءَ أَن يُزِيغَهُ أَزَاغَهُ، قَالَ: فَكَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ يَقُولُ: يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْنَا عَلَى دِينِكَ، وَالْمِيزَانُ بِيَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَخفِضُهُ وَيَرْفَعُهُ، وَفِى لَفْظٍ بَيْنَ أَصَابِع الرَّحْمَنِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَقَامَهُ وَإنْ شَاءَ أَزَاغَه، فَكَانَ يَقُولُ: يَا مُثبِّتَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قُلُوبَنَا عَلَى دِينِكَ، وَالْمِيزَانُ بِيَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَرْفَعُ أَقْوَامًا وَيَخْفِضُ أَقْوَامًا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَة".
