[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is not a heart except that it is between two fingers of the fingers of the Most Merciful. He (Allah) establishes it or deviates it as He wills." Adh-Dhahabi remained silent in summarizing it.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا مِنْ قَلْبٍ إِلَّا بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَقَامَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَزَاغَهُ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Every heart is between two fingers of the fingers of the Most Merciful. He directs it as He wills. If He wants to establish it, He establishes it, and if He wants to mislead it, He misleads it." He also used to say, "O Turner of the hearts, make our hearts steadfast on Your religion. The scale is in the hand of the Most Merciful, He lowers it and raises it."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ قَلْبٍ إِلَّا وَهُوَ بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ إِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُقِيمَهُ أَقَامَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُزِيغَهُ أَزَاغَهُ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قُلُوبَنَا عَلَى دِينِكَ وَالْمِيزَانُ بِيَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَخْفِضُهُ وَيَرْفَعُهُ
"مَا مِنْ قلبٍ إِلا وهُو بَينَ أصْبعَين مِنْ أَصَابع الرحمن، إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يُقِيمهُ أَقَامَهُ، وَإِذا شاءَ أَنْ يُزيَغهُ أَزَاغهُ".
"مَا مِنْ قلب إِلا وَهُو مُعلّقٌ بين إصْبُعينِ مِنْ أَصَابع الرحمنِ إِنْ شاءَ أَقامَهُ، وَإِنْ شاءَ أَزاغهُ وَالميزانُ بيَد الرّحمنِ يرفعُ أَقْوَاما ويَضعُ آخَرِينَ إِلى يَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ".
