"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When any one of you goes to defecate, let him not face toward the Qiblah, rather let him face towards the east or the west.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 22)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَائِطَ فَلَا يَسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا يَسْتَدْبِرْهَا وَلَكِنْ لِيُشَرِّقْ أَوْ لِيُغَرِّبْ»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "When one of you goes out to relieve himself, let him not face towards the Qibla (direction of prayer) or turn his back towards it, rather let him face east or west."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا خَرَجَ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلْغَائِطِ فَلَا يَسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا يَسْتَدْبِرْهَا وَلْيُشَرِّقْ أَوْ لِيُغَرِّبْ»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "When one of you goes to the bathroom, he should not face the qibla (direction of prayer) nor turn his back to it. Rather, turn to the east or west."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا ذَهَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْغَائِطِ فَلَا يَسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا يَسْتَدْبِرْهَا وَلَكِنْ شَرِّقُوا وَغَرِّبُوا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When any one of you goes to the toilet, he should not face the Qibla (direction of prayer) nor turn his back towards it."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا ذَهَبَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلَاءَ فَلَا يَسْتَقْبِلِ الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا يَسْتَدْبِرْهَا»  

"إذَا بال أحدكُمْ أوْ تَغَوطَ فلا يسْتَقْبلْ القِبْلةَ ولا يسْتدبْرها بِفْرجِه".  

"إِذَا ذهب أحدُكُمْ إلى الخَلاءِ فلا يستقْبلْ القِبْلَةَ ولا يستدْبرها".  

When any one amongst you squats for answering the call of nature, he should neither turn his face towards the Qibla nor turn his back towards it. (Using translation from Muslim 265)   

"إِذَا جَلسَ أحدُكم على حاجتِه فلا يستقبلِ القبلةَ ولا يستدْبْرها".
