ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ أَنْ تَلْبَسَ الْمُعْتَدَّةُ الْحُلِيَّ، أَوْ تَخْتَضِبَ
The Prophet ﷺ said: A woman whose husband has died must not wear clothes dyed with safflower (usfur) or with red ochre (mishq) and ornaments. She must not apply henna and collyrium. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2304)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا لَا تَلْبَسُ الْمُعَصْفَرَ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ وَلَا الْمُمَشَّقَةَ وَلَا الْحُلِيَّ وَلَا تَخْتَضِبُ وَلَا تَكْتَحِلُ»
