[Machine] "The deceased wife does not mourn except for her husband, she does not put on henna, perfume, or wear colored clothing except for a garment made of cotton." Hisham narrates from Hafsah, from Umm Atiyyah, from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ something similar to this.  

«الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا لَا تُحِدُّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجٍ وَلَا تَكْتَحِلُ وَلَا تَخْتَضِبُ وَلَا تَلْبَسُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا إِلَّا ثَوْبَ عَصْبٍ وَلَا تَطَيَّبُ» وَقَالَ هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ  

[Machine] The deceased husband's wife does not wear makeup, perfume, or adorn herself. She does not wear anything other than a black dress. She does not spend the night anywhere other than her own house, but she visits during the day.  

الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا لَا تَكْتَحِلُ وَلَا تُطَيِّبُ وَلَا تَخْتَضِبُ وَلَا تَلْبَسُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا إِلَّا السُّودَ الْمُعَصَّبَ وَلَا تَبِيتُ غَيْرَ بَيْتِهَا وَلَكِنْ تَزُورُ بِالنَّهَارِ  

"عَنِ ابْن عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا لاَ تَمَسُّ طيبًا وَلاَ تَلْبَسُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا، وَلاَ تَكْتَحِلُ، وَلاَ تَلْبَسُ الْحُلَّ، وَلاَ تَخْتَضِبُ، وَلاَ تَلْبَسُ الْمُعَصْفَرَ".
