[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ used to place his left hand on his left thigh and his right hand on his right thigh, and he would point with his index finger, without moving it, in the direction of his gaze."
[Machine] We arrived in the city while they were shaking their hands from under their clothes. So I said, "Let me see the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said, "Then he started the takbeer until he opened the prayer, and raised his hands until I saw his thumbs near his ears." He said, "Then he took his left with his right. When he bowed, he raised his hands, and when he raised his head, he said, 'Allah hears whoever praises Him.' Then he made takbeer and raised his hands, then prostrated and placed his head between his hands in the place of his face. When he sat, he spread his feet and placed his right elbow on his right thigh, and held his pinky and the one next to it, and gathered his thumb with his middle finger, and raised the finger he uses for supplication."
His father told him that he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sitting when praying, putting his right forearm on his right thigh and raising his forefinger, which he had bent slightly, and he was supplicating. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1274)
He saw a man moving pebbles with his hand while praying. When he finished, 'Abdullah said to him: "Do not move the pebbles while you are praying, for that is from Shaitan. Rather do what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do." He said: "What did he used to do?" He said: "He would put his right hand on his right thigh, and point with the finger that is next to the thumb toward the Qiblah, and he would look at it, or thereabouts." Then he said: "This is what I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1160)
when we (prayed and) sat up during prayer along the Messenger of Allah (may peach be upon him), we said: “Peace be to Allah before it is supplicated for His servants; peace be to so and so. “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do not say “Peace be to Allah ,”for Allah Himself is peace. When one of you sits(during the prayer), he should say: The adoration of the tongue are due to Allah, and acts of worship and all good things. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and Allah’s mercy and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon Allah’s upright servants. When you say that, it reaches every upright servant in heavens and earth or between heavens and earth. I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and apostle. Then he may choose any supplication which pleases him and offer it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 968)

The adoration of the tongue are due to Allah, and acts of worship, all good things. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and Allah’s mercy and His blessings. Ibn ‘Umar said: I added: “And Allah’s blessings, peace be upon us, and upon Allah’s upright servants. I testify that there is not god but Allah. “Ibn ‘Umar said: I added to it: He is alone, no one is His associate, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Apostle. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 971)

I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is Allah’s apostle (peace be upon him). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 974)

[Machine] "We used to not know what to say in prayer until the Prophet ﷺ taught us to say, 'Peace be upon Allah, peace be upon Jibril, peace be upon Mika'il.' Then he taught us to say, 'The greetings are for Allah, and the prayers and good deeds. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah.' Abu Wail reported in his hadith from Abdullah that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'When you say it, it reaches every righteous servant in the heavens and on the earth.' And Abu Ishaq reported in his hadith from Abdullah that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'When you say it, it reaches every near and distant servant, prophetic messenger, or righteous servant. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.'"

[Machine] Narrated Abu Mas'ud:
A man came and sat in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we know how to send greetings upon you, but how should we pray for you when we are already praying in our own prayers? Allah sends His blessings upon you, so how should we send blessings upon you?" The Prophet ﷺ remained silent until we wished that the man had not asked him. Then he said, "When you pray, say: 'O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, the Prophet who cannot read or write, and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim, and upon the family of Ibrahim. And bless Muhammad, the Prophet who cannot read or write, and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Verily, You are full of praise and majesty.'"

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a person supplicating during prayer. He did not mention the greatness of Allah, nor did he invoke blessings on the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He made haste. He then called him and said either to him or to any other person: If any of you prays, he should mention the exaltation of his Lord in the beginning and praise Him; he should then invoke blessings on the Prophet ﷺ; thereafter he should supplicate Allah for anything he wishes. He said, "I mentioned a prophet among the prophets who was given troops from his people. He said, 'Who will fight for these people?' So Allah revealed to him to choose one of three: either to subject them to the attack of an enemy from outside, or to cause them to suffer from famine, or to afflict them with death. So he consulted his people about this, and they said, 'You are the Messenger of Allah; decide for us.' He then stood up for prayer, and whenever they were distressed, they would hasten to prayer. He prayed as Allah willed, then he said, 'O Lord, as for their enemy, let it not be something other than themselves; as for famine, let it not be upon them; but afflict them with death for three days.' Seventy thousand of them died. What I whispered to you is that I said, 'O Allah, I fight and strive with Your help, and there is no power or strength except with Allah.'"

He said: 'The enemy of Allah (SWT), Iblis, came with a brand of fire to throw it in my face, so I said: I seek refuge with Allah from you three times, then I wanted to take hold of him. So when you sit for the two prostrations, say: 'All compliments, prayers, and good words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah.' Abu Wail said in his narration that Abdullah said: "When I said it, every close angel, sent prophet, and righteous servant was covered."
