1. Book of Purification (11/11)
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever has intercourse with a menstruating woman, or with a woman in her rear, or who goes to a fortuneteller and believes what he says, he has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 639)
[Machine] "Oh Abu Abdullah Al-Rahman, should I bring my wife to wherever you want?" He said, "Yes." He said, "From where do you want?" He said, "Yes." He said, "And how do you want?" He said, "Yes." So a man said to him, "Oh Abu Abdullah Al-Rahman, this person intends harm." He said, "No, may women be prohibited upon you." Abdullah was asked, "Do you say this?" He said, "Yes."
[Machine] He used to dislike his husband visiting his wife from behind and he strongly criticized him for it.
[Machine] "Never has there been a nation more inclined towards men than the people of Lot."
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever approaches his wife from behind, Allah the Almighty will not look at him on the Day of Judgment."
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When any of you breaks wind during the prayer, he should turn away and perform ablution and repeat the prayer. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 205)
[Machine] I asked Ibn Umar, "What do you say about the slave girls when I discipline them?" He replied, "What do you mean by disciplining?" So I mentioned striking them on the buttocks, and he said, "Does anyone among the Muslims do that?"
[Machine] The translation of the provided Arabic text into English is: "Regarding the matter of women in the council of Bani Waqif and what is said about them, Khuzayma bin Thabit said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'O people, Allah is not ashamed of the truth. Do not underestimate the abilities of women.'"
[Machine] "They used to avoid women during their menstruation and approach them after they had purified themselves. They asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this, so Allah revealed, 'And they ask you about menstruation. Say, it is harm, so keep away from wives during menstruation and do not approach them until they are cleansed. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where Allah has ordained for you.'" [Quran 2:222] "In their private parts and do not approach them unlawfully."
[Machine] About Tawus, Saeed, Mujahid, and Ata, they used to reject women coming from behind them and say, "It is disbelief."
1.115 [Machine] Ghusl for Menstruating Women When Ghusl is Required Before the Start of Menstruation
[Machine] Regarding cleanliness from janabah and menstruation, Ata and Al-Zuhri said, "Ghusl (full body wash) for both situations is the same."
[Machine] "to be interspersed with a few remaining fires on it"
Jumay' ibn Umayr, one of the sons of Banu Taym Allah ibn Tha'labah, said: Accompanied by my mother and aunt I entered upon Aisha. One of them asked her: How did you do while taking a bath? Aisha replied: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution (in the beginning) as he did for prayer. He then poured (water) upon his head three times. But we poured water upon our heads five times due to plaits. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 241)
[Machine] "If it is worth a valley, even if you spend a pitcher in it? Indeed, it is enough for it to be emptied on its head three times."
[Machine] From Jabir, regarding "The woman in menstrual or postnatal bleeding pours the water and does not invalidate her wudu or (the state of) purity."
[Machine] Ibrahim, when his roots and extremities are afflicted, they do not break.
[Machine] "That the wives of Ibn Umar and the mothers of his children, when they perform ghusl (ritual purification bath), they do not break their vow (i.e. remain in a state of menstruation or post-intercourse impurity)."
[Machine] She said, "Do not break your vow of abstinence (from sexual relations) during menstruation or after sexual impurity (janabah)."
[Machine] From Umm Salamah, the Prophet's wife ﷺ, she said, "A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'I have intense dandruff in my hair or a knot in it.' He said, 'Rub onto your head three handfuls of water and then wink at the end of each handful.'"
[Machine] He said to his wife, "Remove the hair, do not let it remain, as there is little fire remaining on it." Mansour (meaning semen) refers to impurity.
[Machine] He said to his wife, "Remove the hair with water, do not use a little fire that would leave any residue on it."
[Machine] "When a woman purifies herself from impurity, she should not undo her hair but rather pour water over its roots and wet it."
[Machine] Regarding a woman's generosity, she may experience sexual impurity and her hair is partly cut. Tahlul explained, "No, but pour water on her head continuously to moisturize the roots of her hair."
[Machine] Aisha, the mother of the believers, said to me, "Can't any one of you, after being purified from menstruation, find some piece of cloth and use it as a wick? If you do not find a wick, then use some cotton. If you do not find cotton, then use some flax. If you do not find flax, then use some salt."
[Machine] "When a woman cleanses herself from menstruation, she should seek the traces of blood with a clean material."
[Machine] "That his wives and the mothers of his children used to perform ritual ablution from menstruation and post-sex impurity, but they would not undo their braids, rather they would leave them as they are."
1.116 [Machine] Entry of menstruating women into the mosque
[Machine] "That the menstruating woman should not consume anything from the mosque."
[Machine] "The menstruating woman does not consume anything from the mosque and does not enter it."
[Machine] "The person who is in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity) takes from the mosque but does not place anything in it."
[Machine] Regarding donating during menstruation, if a woman takes something from the mosque, he said, "Yes, except for the Quran."
1.117 [Machine] The passage is in Arabic and it translates to "The Movement of the Southerners in the Mosque".
[Machine] Anas reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) may pass through the mosque but should not sit in it." (Surah An-Nisa 43)
[Machine] "The junub (one in a state of major ritual impurity) passes through the mosque without sitting in it." Then, he recited this verse: "And (also forbidden to you are) those who are impure due to sexual impurity unless they are passing through a road" [Quran 4:43].
[Machine] Sa'id and another person said, "He passes by without staying in it."
[Machine] "We used to walk in the mosque while we were in a state of impurity, and we didn't see any harm in that."
1.118 [Machine] The incantation for menstruating women
1.119 [Machine] When a menstruating woman becomes pure and does not find water
[Machine] About the man, his wife is with him on a journey. Then she experiences menstruation and becomes pure but cannot find water. They said, "Perform Tayammum (dry ablution) and pray." I said to them, "Does her husband touch her?" They said, "Yes, prayer is more important than that."
[Machine] Regarding the act of perfuming oneself, a woman can still be considered purified even if she cannot find water. It was asked to Abdullah, "Do you say this?" He replied, "Yes, by Allah."
1.120 [Machine] The boasting of the nation.
[Machine] In the excuse of the nation, if you are not menstruating, he said, "Forty-five."
[Machine] About the man who buys the girl, she has not reached puberty nor is she pregnant. How long is her waiting period? He said, "Three months."
[Machine] "Which one do you prefer - three months more secure or one month is sufficient?" Abdullah said, "Three months are more secure, but one month is sufficient."
