The Prophet ﷺ said, "Fever is from the heat of Hell, so abate fever with water."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Fever is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire; so cool it with water."
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا عَنْكُمْ بِالْمَاءِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Fever is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire, so cool it with water."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Fever is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire; so abate fever with water."

The fever from the vehement raging of the (heat of Hell), so cool it with the help of water.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
Fever is due to vehemence of the heat of Hell, so cool it with water.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
Fever is from the vehement raging of the fire of Hell, so extinguish it with water.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَطْفِئُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
Fever is from the vehement Paging of the Hell-fire, so cool it with water.

Fever is from the vehement raging of the Hell-fire, so cool it with water.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْحُمَّى فَوْرٌ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
“Fever is from the heat of the Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.”
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
“Intense fever is from the heat of Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.”
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fever is from the vehemence of the heat of Jahannam, so cool it with water."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْحُمَّى فَوْرٌ من فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ فَابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
This heat is from the exhalation of Hell-fire, so delay the prayer till it is cool. (Using translation from Muslim 615d)
عَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَرَّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ
[Machine] Indeed, the messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, fever is from the heat of Hell, so cool it down with Zamzam water."
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِنَّ الْحُمَّى أَوْ شِدَّةَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
“Fever is from the heat of the Hell-fire, so cool it down with water.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3471)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْحُمَّى أَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Fever is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire, so cool it with water." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3263)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ that he said: Fever is a breath from Hell-fire, so extinguish it with water or cool it down with water.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَطْفِئُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ أَوْ بَرِّدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "The intensity of heat is from the breath of Hell, so cool it down with prayer."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ شِدَّةُ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Delay the (Zuhr) Prayer till it gets cooler, for the severity of heat is from the increase in the heat of Hell (fire). (Using translation from Bukhārī 3259)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fever is from the breath of Hellfire, so cool it down with water."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ أَوْ مِنْ فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Fever is a heat from the fires of Hell, so cool it down with Zamzam water."
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ»
I used to sit with Ibn ʿAbbas in Mecca. Once I had a fever and he said (to me), "Cool your fever with Zamzam water, for Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It, (the Fever) is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire; so, cool it with water (or Zamzam water). (Using translation from Bukhārī 3261)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ»
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ regarding fever, he said, "Cool it down with water, for indeed it is a breath from Hellfire."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الْحُمَّى قَالَ «أَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ»
[Machine] Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fever is a breath from the Hellfire, so cool it with Zamzam water."
فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ»
"إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحُمَّى من فَيْح جَهَنَّم، فأَبْرِدُوها بالماءِ".
الحُمَّى من فَيح جهنَّم فأبْرُدوها بالماءِ، وفي لفظ: بماءِ زمزم".
"الحُمَّى من فَيح جهنم فأبْرُدُوها عنكم بالماءِ الباردِ".
"الحُمَّى من فَيْح جهنم فأطفِئُوها عنكم بالماءِ البارد"
"الحُمَّى من فَوْر جهنم فأبْردُوها بالماءِ" .
