But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world ˹that which is˺ good and in the Hereafter ˹that which is˺ good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "O Allah! Our Lord! Give us in this world that, which is good and in the Hereafter that, which is good and save us from the torment of the Fire." (2.201)

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

The most frequent invocation of The Prophet ﷺ was: "O Allah! Give to us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire." (2.201)

كَانَ أَكْثَرُ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

" Our Lord, grant us the good in this world and the good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of Hell Fire."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say between the two corners: O Allah, bring us a blessing in this world and a blessing in the next and guard us from punishment of Hell.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَا بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ { رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ }

" Our Lord, grant us the good in this world and the good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of Hell Fire." (Using translation from Muslim 2690b)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ اللهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

[Machine] I heard Anas saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently supplicate, saying, "O Allah, grant us goodness in this world, and goodness in the hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Hellfire."

سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

" Our Lord, grant us the good in this world and the good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of Hell Fire." (Using translation from Muslim 2690b)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ «اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ»

[Machine] Qatadah asked Anas, "What is the most common supplication that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used to make?" He replied, "The most common supplication the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used to make is, 'O Allah, our Lord, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.'"

سَأَلَ قَتَادَةُ أَنَسًا أَيُّ دَعْوَةٍ أَكْثَرُ مَا يَدْعُو بِهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ؟ قَالَ أَكْثَرُ دَعْوَةٍ يَدْعُو بِهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ»

[Machine] Qatadah asked Anas, "Which supplication did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ make most frequently?" Anas replied, "The supplication he made most frequently was, 'O Allah, give us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.'"

سَأَلَ قَتَادَةُ أَنَسًا أَيَّةُ دَعْوَةٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَدْعُو بِهَا أَكْثَرَ؟ فَقَالَ كَانَ يَدْعُو أَكْثَرَ مَا يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الْقَوْلِ اللهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Anas reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to make supplication with this supplication, "O Allah, give us good in this world and good in the Next World and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Anas said, "The most frequent supplication of the Prophet ﷺ was, 'O Allah, give us good in this world and good in the Next World and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.'"

عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَكْثَرُ دُعَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

يَدْعُو بِهَا النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حسنة وقنا عذاب النار

"اللهُمَّ رَبّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدنيَا حَسَنَة، وفي الآخرةِ حَسَنَةً، وقِنَا عَذَاب النَّار ".

" عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَثُرَ مَا سَمِعْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ يَدْعُو: اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وفِى الآخَرةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ".
