The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims, shall not smell the smell of Paradise though its smell is perceived from a distance of forty years."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا تُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever killed a Mu'ahid (a person who is granted the pledge of protection by the Muslims) shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise though its fragrance can be smelt at a distance of forty years (of traveling).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا مُعَاهَدًا لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا يُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا

"Whoever kills a man from among Ahl Adh-Dhimmah.[2] he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, and its fragrance may be detected from a distance of seventy years."

عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ رَجُلاً مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَجِدْ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever kills a person from among Ahl Adh-Dhimmah, he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, and its fragrance may be detected from a distance of forty years."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلاً مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَجِدْ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا

“Whoever kills a Mu'ahid, will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, even though its fragrance may be detected from a distance of forty years.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهِدًا لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا

“Whoever kills a Mu'ahid who has the protection of Allah and the protection of his Messenger, will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, even though its fragrance may be detected from a distance of Seventy years.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهِدًا لَهُ ذِمَّةُ اللَّهِ وَذِمَّةُ رَسُولِهِ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever kills a person from among Ahl Adh-Dhimmah, he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, and its fragrance may be detected from a distance of forty years." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4750)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَرَحْ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ كَذَا وَكَذَا»

“Whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, even though its fragrance may be detected from a distance of five hundred years.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2611)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا فِي عَهْدِهِ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَجِدْ رِيحَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever kills a person who has a covenant of protection without justification, he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, and indeed its fragrance can be found from a distance of forty years."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهِدًا بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَيُوجَدُ رِيحُهَا مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever kills a person who has a covenant of protection (non-Muslim citizen), will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, even though its fragrance can be detected from a distance of so and so."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا يُوجَدُ مِنْ كَذَا وَكَذَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever kills a person who has made a covenant of peace (mu'ahid) unjustly, he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, and indeed its fragrance can be found from a distance of forty years."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَيُوجَدُ رِيحُهَا مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا

"مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا لَهُ ذِمَّةُ الله وَذِمَّةُ رَسُولِهِ، فَقَدْ خَفَرَ ذِمَّةَ الله وَلَا يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِن مَسِيرَةِ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا".

"مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ لَمْ يَرَحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ ريحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ".

"مَنْ قَتَلَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْل الذمَّة، لَمْ يجِدْ ريح الْجنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ من مسيرَةِ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا".

"مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا لَمْ يَرح رَائحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ رِيحَهَا لَيُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا".
