He asked 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas about wearing silk. He said: "Ask 'Aishah." "So I asked 'Aishah and she said: 'Ask 'Abdullah bin 'Umar.' So I asked Ibn 'Umar and he said: 'Abu Hafs told me, that the Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Whoever wears silk in this world will have no share in the Hereafter."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلاَ خَلاَقَ لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ

That the Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: "Silk is only worn by one who has no share."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لاَ خَلاَقَ لَهُ

Ask ʿAʿishah about that. So he asked ʿAʿishah and she said: Ask Ibn ʿUmar (...). So he asked Ibn ʿUmar, and he said: Abu Hafs told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿWhoever wears silk in this world will have no share of it in the Hereafter.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلا خَلاقَ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ

from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Silk is worn by the one who has no portion ˹in the hereafter.˺"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ۔»

from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Silk is worn by the one who has no portion ˹in the hereafter.˺" (Using translation from Aḥmad 5364)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ

from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Silk is worn by the one who has no portion ˹in the hereafter.˺" (Using translation from Aḥmad 5364)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ

[Machine] O Messenger of Allah, if you bought it, he would say, "It is only worn by one who has no sense of fashion."

عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَوْ اشْتَرَيْتَهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُهُ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ

[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Only those who have no character should wear silk in this world."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَلْبَسِ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ»

from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Silk is worn by the one who has no portion ˹in the hereafter.˺" (Using translation from Aḥmad 5364)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ»

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ مَوْصُولًا إِلَّا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إن من كمال الإيمان حسن الخلق

("إِنما يَلبَسُ الحريرَ من لا خلاق له في الآخرة" .
