59.42 [Machine] What was mentioned in the duration of the truce

bayhaqi:18809Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ And ʾAbū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥasan al-Qāḍī > Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Aḥmad b. ʿAbd al-Jabbār > Yūnus b. Bukayr > Ibn Isḥāq > al-Zuhrī > ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr

[Machine] That he forced himself into it and Suhail bin Amr came out from among them. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw him approaching, he said, "The people intended to make peace when they sent this man." When he finished, the conversation continued between them until a peace agreement was reached, stating that there would be a cease-fire between them for ten years, and that people would be safe from each other. The following year, they would leave and return to Makkah. He (Suhail) would stay in it for three days. It was also agreed that he would not enter it except with weapons on horses and swords nearby. Whoever comes to us from your companions without your permission, we will not return him to you, and whoever comes to you from us without our permission, you should return him. And there is a blind spot between us and you. There is no harm or injury.

bayhaqi:18810ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] The truce between the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the people of Makkah during the year of Hudaybiyah lasted for four years. Abu Saad al-Malini informed us that Abu Ahmad ibn Adi narrated to us from Al-Qasim ibn Mahdi who narrated from Ya'qub ibn Kasib who narrated from Abdullah ibn Nafie from Aasim ibn Umar, and Asim ibn Umar mentioned it first. Aasim ibn Umar, however, is known for narrating from sources that are not continuous, as Yahya ibn Ma'in, Al-Bukhari, and others among the scholars have weakened him.
