Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Muzabana; and Muzabana is the selling of fresh dates for dried old dates by measure, and the selling of fresh grapes for dried grapes by measure.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ بَيْعُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلاً وَبَيْعُ الزَّبِيبِ بِالْكَرْمِ كَيْلاً

Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Muzabana; and Muzabana means the selling of fresh dates (on the trees) for dried dates by measure and also the selling of fresh grapes for dried grapes by measure.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلاً وَبَيْعُ الْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلاً

Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Muzabana and Muhaqala; and Muzabana means the selling of ripe dates for dates still on the trees.

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ

Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased them) reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ having forbidden Muzabana, and Muzabana implies the selling of fresh dates for dry dates by measuring them out and the selling of raisins by measure for grapes.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ بَيْعُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلاً وَبَيْعُ الْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلاً

the messenger of Allah forbade Muzabana, and Muzabanah means selling fresh dates still on tree for dried dates by measure, and selling fresh grapes for raisins by measure.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ بَيْعُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلاً وَبَيْعُ الْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلاً

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade muzabana. Muzabana was selling fresh dates for dried dates by measure, and selling grapes for raisins by measure.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ بَيْعُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلاً وَبَيْعُ الْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلاً

Yahya related to me from Malik from Da'ud ibn al-Husayn from Abu Sufyan, the mawla of Ibn Abi Ahmad, from Abu Said al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade muzabana and muhaqala. Muzabana was selling fresh dates for dried dates while they were still on the trees. Muhaqala was renting land in exchange for wheat.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ كِرَاءُ الأَرْضِ بِالْحِنْطَةِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Muzabana; and Muzabana means the selling of fresh dates (on the trees) for dried dates by measure and also the selling of fresh grapes for dried grapes by measure. (Using translation from Bukhārī 2185)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا وَالْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ forbade trade known as "muzabanah", which is exchanging dates by weight with dried grapes by weight and wheat by weight with seeds by weight.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ الثَّمَرُ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا وَالْعِنَبُ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا وَالْحِنْطَةُ بِالزَّرْعِ كَيْلًا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Muzabanah, Muhaqalah, and Muzabanah is the buying of fruit at the tops of palm trees with dates as the weight, and Muhaqalah is renting land for a share of the produce.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرَةِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ فِي كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited muzabanah, muhaqalah, and muzabanah. Muzabanah is buying the fruit at the top of the palm tree with dates as weight, and muhaqalah is renting the land.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرَةِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ كِرَاءُ الْأَرْضِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the practice of "muzabana" and "muhakala," and "muzabana" is the act of buying fruit with dates at the top of palm trees, and "muhakala" is the act of renting land in exchange for wheat.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِوَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ اسْتِكْرَاءُ الْأَرْضِ بِالْحِنْطَةِ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ بَيْعُ التَّمْرِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا وَبَيْعُ الْكَرْمِ بِالزَّبِيبِ كَيْلًا»

"نَهَى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ عَنِ المُزَابَنَةِ، وَالمُزَابَنَةُ بَيع الثَّمَرِ بِالثَّمْرِ كيْلًا، وَبَيع الكَرْم بِالزبيبِ كيْلًا".
