Yahya related to me from Malik from Da'ud ibn al-Husayn from Abu Sufyan, the mawla of Ibn Abi Ahmad, from Abu Said al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade muzabana and muhaqala. Muzabana was selling fresh dates for dried dates while they were still on the trees. Muhaqala was renting land in exchange for wheat.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ كِرَاءُ الأَرْضِ بِالْحِنْطَةِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited muzabanah, muhaqalah, and muzabanah. Muzabanah is buying the fruit at the top of the palm tree with dates as weight, and muhaqalah is renting the land.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرَةِ فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِالتَّمْرِ كَيْلًا وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ كِرَاءُ الْأَرْضِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the Muhaqalah and the Muzabanah." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2267)

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ الْبُرُّ بِالْبُرِّ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade engaging in "muzabana" and "muhaqala". Muzabana is the act of buying fruit by exchanging dates at the top of palm trees, and muhaqala is the act of seizing land forcefully.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ اشْتِرَاءُ الثَّمَرِ بالتمر فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ اسْتِكْرَاءُ الْأَرْضِ

"نَهَى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ عَنْ المُزَابَنَةِ، وَالمُحَاقَلَةِ، والْمُزَابَنَةُ التَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ، وَالمُحَاقَلَةُ البُرُّ بِالبُرِّ".
