The Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you is fasting, he should break his fast with dates; but if he cannot get any, then (he should break his fast) with water, for water is purifying.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَائِمًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى التَّمْرِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ التَّمْرَ فَعَلَى الْمَاءِ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ

the Prophet said: "When one of you breaks his fast, then let him do so with dried dates, for they are blessed. Whoever does not find dates, then water, for it is purifying." And he said: "Charity given to the needy is (counted as) charity, and if it is given to relatives it is (counted as) two: charity and nurturing (the ties of kinship)."

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ فَإِنَّهُ بَرَكَةٌ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ تَمْرًا فَالْمَاءُ فَإِنَّهُ طَهُورٌ وَقَالَ الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ وَهِيَ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ ثِنْتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ

the Prophet ﷺ said: "When one of you breaks his fast, then let him do so with dried dates. And whoever does not find dates, then water, for it is purifying."

"When any one of you breaks his fast, let him break it with dates. If he cannot find dates, then let him break it with water, for it is a means of purification."

[AI] He said, "If one of you breaks fast, then let them break it with dates. And if they cannot find dates, then let them break it with water, for indeed water is pure."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى الْمَاءِ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Let him break his fast with dates, but if he does not find dates, then with water, as it is purifying. And let him (who has a newborn) remove harm from the baby, and let him pour blood out from him, and charity is due on the relative: two acts of charity, one for kinship and one for maintaining ties."

And he said, 'Charity given to a poor person is a charity, and it is counted as both a charity and a connection to one's relatives.'"

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: charity given to the poor is one charity, and charity given to a relative is two charities: a charity and a tie of kinship.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ وَالصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "With the child's birth, offer a sacrifice and remove any harm from him. And I heard him say: Your charity to the poor is a charity, and it is considered a charity for your relatives as well."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا وأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ صَدَقَتُكَ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ وَهِيَ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ ثِنْتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ صَدَقَتُكَ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ وَعَلَى ذِي الْقُرْبَى الرَّحِمِ ثِنْتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Let one of you break his fast with dates. But if he cannot find any, then let him break his fast with water, for indeed water is purifying. Along with the Aqeeqah of a newborn, remove harm from him, sprinkle water on him, and give charity to his relatives, for these are two acts of charity and maintaining family ties."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ وَجَدَ تَمْرًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ لَا فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى الْمَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ طَهُورٌ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Along with a boy there is an 'Aqiqah, so shed blood on his behalf, and remove injury from him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2839)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: Your charity towards a Muslim is a form of charity, and towards a relative it counts as both charity and upholding ties of kinship.

عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى مَاءٍ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you breaks the fast, let him break it with dates, for it is a blessing. If he cannot find dates, then with water, for it is purifying."
