Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

The servant is constantly in prayer so long as he is in a place of worship waiting for the prayer (to be observed in congregation), and the angels invoke (blessings upon him in these words): O Allah! pardon him. O Allah! show mercy to him, (and they continue to do so) till he returns (from the mosque having completed the prayer) or his ablution breaks. I said: How is the ablution broken? He said: By breaking of the wind noiselessly or with noise.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ وَتَقُولُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ أَوْ يُحْدِثَ قُلْتُ مَا يُحْدِثُ قَالَ يَفْسُو أَوْ يَضْرِطُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Anyone amongst you who sat in a place of worship waiting for the prayer is in prayer and his ablution is not broken, the angels invoke blessing upon him (in these words): O Allah! pardon him. O Allah! have mercy upon him.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ مَا قَعَدَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَدْعُو لَهُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

O Allah, forgive him? O Allah, take mercy on him, until he turns away, or he is defiled. He was asked: what is meant by defilement? He replied: he breaks wind gently or loudly.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ تَقُولُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ أَوْ يُحْدِثَ فَقِيلَ مَا يُحْدِثُ قَالَ يَفْسُو أَوْ يَضْرِطُ

Messenger of Allah said: "One of you does not cease to be in Salat as long as he is waiting for it. And the angels do not cease praying for one of you as long as he remains in the Masjid (saying): 'Allah! Forgive him. O Allah! Have mercy upon him' - as long as he does not commit Hadath." A man from Hadramawt said: "And just what is Hadath Abu Hurairah?" He said: "Breaking wind, or passing gas."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُهَا وَلاَ تَزَالُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ وَمَا الْحَدَثُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ فُسَاءٌ أَوْ ضُرَاطٌ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَأَنَسٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَسَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels ask for blessings on each one of you as long as he is in the place where he has prayed and has not discharged anything. They say, 'Allah, forgive him. Allah have mercy on him.' "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One of you will continue to be in prayer as long as he is waiting for the next one, and the angels will continue to pray upon one of you as long as he is in his place of worship, saying, 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him as long as he does not commit any major sin.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُ الَّتِي بَعْدَهَا وَلَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One of you will continue to be in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer in his place, and the angels will say, 'O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him as long as he does not engage in idle talk."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْفِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَقُولُونَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ تَقُولُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ أَوْ يُحْدِثَ قُلْتُ وَمَا يُحْدِثُ؟ قَالَ يَفْسُو أَوْ يَضْرِطُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ مَا قَعَدَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَدْعُو لَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Muslim slave (servant) remains in prayer as long as he is sitting in his prayer place, and nothing prevents him except waiting for the prayer. And the angels say, 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him, as long as he does not commit any sin.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ الْمُسْلِمُ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ قَاعِدًا وَلَا يَحْبِسُهُ إِلَّا انْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَقُولُونَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Verily, the believing servant remains in prayer as long as he is in his place of prayer. Nothing detains him except waiting for the prayer, and the angels are with him, saying: O Allah, have mercy on him. O Allah, forgive him for what he did not do."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ الْمُؤْمِنَ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ لَا يَحْبِسُهُ إِلَّا انْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مَعَهُ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يَقُمْ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى الْعَبْدِ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يَقُمْ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى الْعَبْدِ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

"مَنْ جَلَسَ في الْمَسْجِدِ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ فَهُوَ في صَلَاةٍ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ تَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ".

"مَنِ انْتَظَر الصَّلاةَ فَهُوَ في صَلاةٍ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ، تَدْعُو لَهُ الْملائِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِر لَهُ، اللَّهم ارحَمْهُ".

"لا يَزالُ أحَدُكُمْ فِي صلاةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُهَا، وَلا تَزَالُ المَلائِكَةُ تُصلِّي عَلَى أحَدِكُمْ مَا كَانَ فِي المَسْجِدِ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغفِرْ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ.

"عَنَ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ قَالَ: لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ في صَلَاةٍ مَا انْتَظَرَ الصَّلَاةَ، وَمَلَكٌ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْه مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ".
