Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The prayer offered in congregation is twenty five times more superior (in reward) to the prayer offered alone in one's house or in a business center, because if one performs ablution and does it perfectly, and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of praying, then for each step which he takes towards the mosque, Allah upgrades him a degree in reward and (forgives) crosses out one sin till he enters the mosque. When he enters the mosque he is considered in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer and the angels keep on asking for Allah's forgiveness for him and they keep on saying: 'O Allah! Be Merciful to him, O Allah! Forgive him, as long as he keeps on sitting at his praying place and does not pass wind. (See Hadith No. 620).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ صَلاَةُ الْجَمِيعِ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَصَلاَتِهِ فِي سُوقِهِ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وَأَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةَ لَمْ يَخْطُ خُطْوَةً إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ خَطِيئَةً حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ كَانَ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتْ تَحْبِسُهُ وَتُصَلِّي يَعْنِي عَلَيْهِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي فِيهِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels keep on asking for Allah's Blessing and Forgiveness for anyone of you as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and does not do Hadath (passes wind). The angels say, 'O Allah! Forgive him and be Merciful to him.' Each one of you is in the prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer and nothing but the prayer detains him from going to his family."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ لاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا دَامَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ لاَ يَمْنَعُهُ أَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "As long as any-one of you is waiting for the prayer, he is considered to be praying actually, and the angels say, 'O Allah! Be merciful to him and forgive him', (and go on saying so) unless he leaves his place of praying or passes wind (i.e. breaks his ablution).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا دَامَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يَقُمْ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The reward for prayer performed by a person in congregation is more than twenty times greater than that of the prayer performed in one’s house or the marketplace. When one performs wuḍūʾ perfectly and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of performing prayer, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, he is upgraded one degree in reward and one of his sins is eliminated until he enters the mosque."

"And when he enters the mosque, he is considered as performing prayer as long as it is the prayer which stops him ˹from leaving the mosque˺; and the angels keep on supplicating Allah for him as long as he remains in his place of prayer. They say: ‘O Allah! Have mercy on him; O Allah! forgive his sins; O Allah! accept his repentance.' ˹This continues, so long as he does cause harm ˹upon anyone˺ in it, or pass wind in it ˹breaking his wuḍūʾ˺ (in a different wording: or speak ˹to anyone˺).”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «صَلاَةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَصَلاَتِهِ فِي سُوقِهِ بِضْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ لاَ يَنْهَزُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةَ، فَلَمْ يَخْطُ خَطْوَةً إِلاَّ رُفِعَ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةٌ وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ، حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ»،

«فَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ كَانَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ هِيَ تَحْبِسُهُ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ، يَقُولُونَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ تُبْ عَلَيْهِ، مَا لَمْ يُؤْذِ فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ».

The angels invoke blessings on everyone among you so long as he is in a place of worship with these words: O Allah! pardon him, O Allah, have mercy upon him, (and they continue to do so) as long as, he ablution (of the worshipper) is not broken, and one among you is in prayer and so long as he is detained for the prayer.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ وَأَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ

The servant is constantly in prayer so long as he is in a place of worship waiting for the prayer (to be observed in congregation), and the angels invoke (blessings upon him in these words): O Allah! pardon him. O Allah! show mercy to him, (and they continue to do so) till he returns (from the mosque having completed the prayer) or his ablution breaks. I said: How is the ablution broken? He said: By breaking of the wind noiselessly or with noise.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ وَتَقُولُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ أَوْ يُحْدِثَ قُلْتُ مَا يُحْدِثُ قَالَ يَفْسُو أَوْ يَضْرِطُ

Everyone among you is constantly in prayer so long as the prayer detains him (for this noble objective) and nothing prevents him to return to his family but the prayer.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا دَامَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ لاَ يَمْنَعُهُ أَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Anyone amongst you who sat in a place of worship waiting for the prayer is in prayer and his ablution is not broken, the angels invoke blessing upon him (in these words): O Allah! pardon him. O Allah! have mercy upon him.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ مَا قَعَدَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَدْعُو لَهُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يَقُمِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

Nothing prevents one from going home to one’s family except prayer.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ لاَ يَمْنَعُهُ أَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ

O Allah, forgive him? O Allah, take mercy on him, until he turns away, or he is defiled. He was asked: what is meant by defilement? He replied: he breaks wind gently or loudly.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ تَقُولُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ أَوْ يُحْدِثَ فَقِيلَ مَا يُحْدِثُ قَالَ يَفْسُو أَوْ يَضْرِطُ

Prayer said by a man in congregation is twenty five degrees more excellent than prayer said by him alone in his house or in the market. This is because when any of you performs ablution and does it perfectly, and goes out to the mosque having no intention except praying, and nothing moves him except prayer, then at every step which he takes his rank is elevated by one degree on account of this (walking), and one sin is remitted from him for this (walking), till he enters the mosque. When he enters the mosque, he will be reckoned as praying as long as he will be detained by the prayer. The angels keep on invoking blessing on any of you so long as he remains seated in the place he prayer, saying: O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, accept his repentance so long as he does not harm anyone, or breaks his ablution.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلاَةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَصَلاَتِهِ فِي سُوقِهِ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً وَذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ وَأَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةَ وَلاَ يَنْهَزُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ لَمْ يَخْطُ خَطْوَةً إِلاَّ رُفِعَ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةٌ وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ كَانَ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ هِيَ تَحْبِسُهُ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ يَقُولُونَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ اللَّهُمَّ تُبْ عَلَيْهِ مَا لَمْ يُؤْذِ فِيهِ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ

Messenger of Allah said: "One of you does not cease to be in Salat as long as he is waiting for it. And the angels do not cease praying for one of you as long as he remains in the Masjid (saying): 'Allah! Forgive him. O Allah! Have mercy upon him' - as long as he does not commit Hadath." A man from Hadramawt said: "And just what is Hadath Abu Hurairah?" He said: "Breaking wind, or passing gas."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُهَا وَلاَ تَزَالُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ وَمَا الْحَدَثُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ فُسَاءٌ أَوْ ضُرَاطٌ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَأَنَسٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَسَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ

"The angels send Salah upon any one of you so long as he is in the place where he prays, and so long as he does not invalidate his ablution, (saying): 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When one of you enters the mosque, he is in a state of prayer, so long as the prayer keeps him there, and the angels will send prayer upon anyone of you so long as he remains in the place where he prayed, saying: "O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, accept his repentance," so long as he does not commit Hadath nor disturb anyone.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ كَانَ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَادَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ يَقُولُونَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ اللَّهُمَّ تُبْ عَلَيْهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُؤْذِ فِيهِ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "When one of you prays and then sits in his place of prayer, the angels continue to say, 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him, as long as he does not talk or engage in worldly affairs."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يَقُومْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "One of you will continue to be in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer, and the angels will continue to send blessings upon one of you as long as he is in his mosque, saying: 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا كَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One of you will continue to be in prayer as long as he is waiting for the next one, and the angels will continue to pray upon one of you as long as he is in his place of worship, saying, 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him as long as he does not commit any major sin.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُ الَّتِي بَعْدَهَا وَلَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One of you will continue to be in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer in his place, and the angels will say, 'O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him as long as he does not engage in idle talk."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْفِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَقُولُونَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "When one of you prays and then sits down, the angels continue to say, 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him as long as he does not engage in anything forbidden or stand up (from his place of prayer).'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يَقُومْ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

Nothing prevents one from going home to one’s family except prayer. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 470)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَتِ الصَّلَاةُ تَحْبِسُهُ لَا يَمْنَعُهُ أَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you performs prayer and sits in his place of prayer, the angels continue to say, 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him,' as long as he does not get up or speak."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ وَجَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يَقُمْ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him." (Using translation from Bukhārī 445)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يَقُمْ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

O Allah, forgive him? O Allah, take mercy on him, until he turns away, or he is defiled. He was asked: what is meant by defilement? He replied: he breaks wind gently or loudly. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 471)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ تَقُولُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يَنْصَرِفْ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ فَقِيلَ لَهُ مَا يُحْدِثُ؟ قَالَ يَفْسُو أَوْ يَضْرِطُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Muslim slave (servant) remains in prayer as long as he is sitting in his prayer place, and nothing prevents him except waiting for the prayer. And the angels say, 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him, as long as he does not commit any sin.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ الْمُسْلِمُ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ قَاعِدًا وَلَا يَحْبِسُهُ إِلَّا انْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَقُولُونَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Verily, the believing servant remains in prayer as long as he is in his place of prayer. Nothing detains him except waiting for the prayer, and the angels are with him, saying: O Allah, have mercy on him. O Allah, forgive him for what he did not do."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ الْمُؤْمِنَ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ لَا يَحْبِسُهُ إِلَّا انْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مَعَهُ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels ask for blessings on each one of you as long as he is in the place where he has prayed and has not discharged anything. They say, 'Allah, forgive him. Allah have mercy on him.' "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You are in prayer as long as the prayer detains you and there is nothing that prevents you from returning to your family except the prayer."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ لاَ يَمْنَعُهُ أَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nuaym ibn Abdullah al-Mujmir that he heard Abu Hurayra say, "If any one of you prays and then sits down in the spot where he has prayed, the angels ask blessings on him saying, 'Allah, forgive him. Allah, have mercy on him.' And if he moves from the spot where he has prayed and sits elsewhere in the mosque waiting for the prayer, he remains in prayer until he prays."

يَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ فَإِنْ قَامَ مِنْ مُصَلاَّهُ فَجَلَسَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي صَلاَةٍ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ»

أَنَّ النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَال لاَ تزال الملائكة تصلى على أحدكم مادام في مصلاه الذي صلى فيه ما لم يقم أو يحدث تقول اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قال إذا صلى أحدكم ثُمَّ جلس في مجلسه لم تزل الملائكة تصلي عليه اللهم اغفر له اللهم صلي عليه

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ الملائكة تصلي على أحدكم ما دام في مصلاه اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بن عروة عَن أبي الزِّنَاد عَن الأَعرَج عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ يحيى بن أبي زكريا

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إذا ولغ الكلب في إناء أحدكم فليغسله سبع مرات أَحسَبُهُ قال إحداهن بالتراب وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بن عروة عَن أبي الزِّنَاد عَن الأَعرَج عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ يونس بن بكير

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إن الملائكة لتصلي على أحدكم ما دام في مصلاه اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه ما دام في مصلاه ينتظر الصلاة

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إن الملائكة تصلي على أحدكم ما دام في مصلاه اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه ما لم يحدث

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الملائكة تصلي على أحدكم ما دام في مصلاه وهذان الحديثان لا نعلم رواهما عن ابن عون عن مُحَمَّد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ مرفوعين إلا عبد القاهر

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثِ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a Muslim prays, then sits in his place of prayer, the angels continue to supplicate for him as long as he does not engage in idle talk. They say, 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى الْعَبْدِ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When one of you enters the mosque, he is in a state of prayer, so long as the prayer keeps him there, and the angels will send prayer upon anyone of you so long as he remains in the place where he prayed, saying: "O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, accept his repentance," so long as he does not commit Hadath nor disturb anyone.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 799)

"إِذا دَخَلَ أحَدُكم المسجِدَ كانَ في صلاة ما كانت الصلاةُ تَحْبِسُهُ، والملائكُة يصلون على أحدِكم ما دام في مجلِسهِ الذي صلى فيه، يقولون: اللهُمَ اغْفِرْ له، اللهمَّ ارحمه، اللهمّ تُبْ عليه، ما لَمْ يُؤذِ فيه، ما لمْ يُحدِثْ فيه".
