Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The prayer offered in congregation is twenty five times more superior (in reward) to the prayer offered alone in one's house or in a business center, because if one performs ablution and does it perfectly, and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of praying, then for each step which he takes towards the mosque, Allah upgrades him a degree in reward and (forgives) crosses out one sin till he enters the mosque. When he enters the mosque he is considered in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer and the angels keep on asking for Allah's forgiveness for him and they keep on saying: 'O Allah! Be Merciful to him, O Allah! Forgive him, as long as he keeps on sitting at his praying place and does not pass wind. (See Hadith No. 620).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ صَلاَةُ الْجَمِيعِ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَصَلاَتِهِ فِي سُوقِهِ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وَأَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةَ لَمْ يَخْطُ خُطْوَةً إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ خَطِيئَةً حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ كَانَ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتْ تَحْبِسُهُ وَتُصَلِّي يَعْنِي عَلَيْهِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي فِيهِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The reward of the prayer offered by a person in congregation is twenty five times greater than that of the prayer offered in one's house or in the market (alone). Bestow Your blessings upon him, be Merciful and kind to him.' And one is regarded in prayer as long as one is waiting for the prayer."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلاَةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ تُضَعَّفُ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَفِي سُوقِهِ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ ضِعْفًا وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ لاَ يُخْرِجُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ لَمْ يَخْطُ خَطْوَةً إِلاَّ رُفِعَتْ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةٌ وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ فَإِذَا صَلَّى لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ وَلاَ يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرَ الصَّلاَةَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels keep on asking for Allah's Blessing and Forgiveness for anyone of you as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and does not do Hadath (passes wind). Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The congregational prayer of anyone amongst you is more than twenty (five or twenty seven) times in reward than his prayer in the market or in his house, for if he performs ablution completely and then goes to the mosque with the sole intention of performing the prayer, and nothing urges him to proceed to the mosque except the prayer, then, on every step which he takes towards the mosque, he will be raised one degree or one of his sins will be forgiven. The angels will keep on asking Allah's forgiveness and blessings for everyone of you so long as he keeps sitting at his praying place. The angels will say, 'O Allah, bless him! O Allah, be merciful to him!' as long as he does not do Hadath or a thing which gives trouble to the other." The Prophet ﷺ further said, "One is regarded in prayer so long as one is waiting for the prayer."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلاَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِ فِي سُوقِهِ وَبَيْتِهِ بِضْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً وَذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةَ لاَ يَنْهَزُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ لَمْ يَخْطُ خَطْوَةً إِلاَّ رُفِعَ بِهَا دَرَجَةً أَوْ حُطَّتْ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي فِيهِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُؤْذِ فِيهِ وَقَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ

The angels invoke blessings on everyone among you so long as he is in a place of worship with these words: O Allah! pardon him, O Allah, have mercy upon him, (and they continue to do so) as long as, he ablution (of the worshipper) is not broken, and one among you is in prayer and so long as he is detained for the prayer.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ وَأَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يَقُمِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

Prayer said by a man in congregation is twenty five degrees more excellent than prayer said by him alone in his house or in the market. This is because when any of you performs ablution and does it perfectly, and goes out to the mosque having no intention except praying, and nothing moves him except prayer, then at every step which he takes his rank is elevated by one degree on account of this (walking), and one sin is remitted from him for this (walking), till he enters the mosque. When he enters the mosque, he will be reckoned as praying as long as he will be detained by the prayer. The angels keep on invoking blessing on any of you so long as he remains seated in the place he prayer, saying: O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, accept his repentance so long as he does not harm anyone, or breaks his ablution.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلاَةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلاَتِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَصَلاَتِهِ فِي سُوقِهِ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً وَذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ وَأَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةَ وَلاَ يَنْهَزُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ لَمْ يَخْطُ خَطْوَةً إِلاَّ رُفِعَ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةٌ وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ كَانَ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ هِيَ تَحْبِسُهُ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ يَقُولُونَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ اللَّهُمَّ تُبْ عَلَيْهِ مَا لَمْ يُؤْذِ فِيهِ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ

"The angels send Salah upon any one of you so long as he is in the place where he prays, and so long as he does not invalidate his ablution, (saying): 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلاَّهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When anyone of you performs ablution and does it well, then he comes to the mosque for no other purpose than prayer, he does not take one step but Allah will raise him one degree (in status) thereby, and remove one sin from him thereby, until he enters the mosque.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ لاَ يَنْهَزُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ لَمْ يَخْطُ خَطْوَةً إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ ﷻ بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When one of you performs ablution and does it well, then he comes to the mosque with no other motive but prayer and not seeking anything other than the prayer, he does not take one step but Allah raises him in status one degree thereby, and takes away one of his sins, until he enters the mosque. When he enters the mosque he is in a state of prayer so long as he is waiting for the prayer.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ لاَ يَنْهَزُهُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةُ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الصَّلاَةَ لَمْ يَخْطُ خَطْوَةً إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ كَانَ فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاَةُ تَحْبِسُهُ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When one of you enters the mosque, he is in a state of prayer, so long as the prayer keeps him there, and the angels will send prayer upon anyone of you so long as he remains in the place where he prayed, saying: "O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, accept his repentance," so long as he does not commit Hadath nor disturb anyone.'"

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "One of you will continue to be in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer, and the angels will continue to send blessings upon one of you as long as he is in his mosque, saying: 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy on him.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَ يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ وَلَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا كَانَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One of you will continue to be in prayer as long as he is waiting for the next one, and the angels will continue to pray upon one of you as long as he is in his place of worship, saying, 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him as long as he does not commit any major sin.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَزَالُ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُ الَّتِي بَعْدَهَا وَلَا تَزَالُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you performs prayer and sits in his place of prayer, the angels continue to say, 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him,' as long as he does not get up or speak."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ وَجَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ لَمْ تَزَلِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَقُولُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يَقُمْ أَوْ يُحْدِثْ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels ask for blessings on each one of you as long as he is in the place where he has prayed and has not discharged anything. They say, 'Allah, forgive him. Allah have mercy on him.' "

أَنَّ النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَال لاَ تزال الملائكة تصلى على أحدكم مادام في مصلاه الذي صلى فيه ما لم يقم أو يحدث تقول اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الملائكة تصلي على أحدكم ما دام في مصلاه الذي صلى فيه ما لم يحدث اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قال صلاة أحدكم في جماعة تزيد على صلاته في بيته وفي سوقه سبعا وعشرين صلاة وذلك أن أحدكم إذا توضأ فأحسن الوضوء ثم خرج إلى الصلاة ما يريد إلا الصلاة لا ينهزه غيرها رفعت له بكل خطوة درجة وحط عنه خطيئة حتى يدخل المسجد فإذا دخل المسجد كان في صلاة ما كانت الصلاة تحبسه والملائكة تقول اللهم صل عليه اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه ما لم يحدث

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إن الملائكة تصلي على أحدكم ما دام في مصلاه اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه ما لم يحدث

O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 469)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثِ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ»

Prayer said by a man in congregation is twenty five degrees more excellent than prayer said by him alone in his house or in the market. This is because when any of you performs ablution and does it perfectly, and goes out to the mosque having no intention except praying, and nothing moves him except prayer, then at every step which he takes his rank is elevated by one degree on account of this (walking), and one sin is remitted from him for this (walking), till he enters the mosque. When he enters the mosque, he will be reckoned as praying as long as he will be detained by the prayer. The angels keep on invoking blessing on any of you so long as he remains seated in the place he prayer, saying: O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, accept his repentance so long as he does not harm anyone, or breaks his ablution. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَضْلُ صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ عَلَى صَلَاتِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَصَلَاتِهِ فِي سُوقِهِ خَمْسَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ دَرَجَةً وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُحْسِنُ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي الْمَسْجِدَ لَا يَنْهَزُهُ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةُ إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ دَرَجَةٌ وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ خَطِيئَةٌ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ كَانَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلَاةُ تَحْبِسُهُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ مَا لَمْ يُؤْذِ فِيهِ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When one of you enters the mosque, he is in a state of prayer, so long as the prayer keeps him there, and the angels will send prayer upon anyone of you so long as he remains in the place where he prayed, saying: "O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, accept his repentance," so long as he does not commit Hadath nor disturb anyone.'" "إِذا دَخَلَ أحَدُكم المسجِدَ كانَ في صلاة ما كانت الصلاةُ تَحْبِسُهُ، والملائكُة يصلون على أحدِكم ما دام في مجلِسهِ الذي صلى فيه، يقولون: اللهُمَ اغْفِرْ له، اللهمَّ ارحمه، اللهمّ تُبْ عليه، ما لَمْ يُؤذِ فيه، ما لمْ يُحدِثْ فيه".

"إِذا صلّى أحدُكمْ ثم ثَبَتَ في مجْلِسه ينتظرُ الصلاةَ لم تزلْ الملائكَةُ تَصلّى عليه ما كان في مَجِلِسه، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفرْ له، اللهم ارحمه، ما لم يُحْدثْ أو يؤذِ أحدًا".

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him." (Using translation from Bukhārī 445)

"إِنَّ الْمَلَائكَةَ تُصَلِّى عَلىَ أَحَدِكُم مَا دَام في مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِى صَلَّى فيه، مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ : الَّلهُمَّ اغْفِر لَهُ الَّلهُم ارْحَمْهُ".

"الملائكةُ تصلِّى على أَحدكم ما دامَ في مصلَّاهُ الَّذي صلى فيهِ ما لم يُحْدِثْ أو يَقُمْ: اللهمَّ اغفرْ له، اللهمَّ ارحمهُ ".

"صَلاةُ الرَّجُل في جَمَاعَةٍ تَزيدُ عَلَى صَلاتِه في بَيتهِ وَصَلاتِه في سوقهِ خمسًا وَعشرينَ دَرَجَةً؛ وَذلِكَ فَإِنَّ أَحَدكُم إِذا تَوَضَّأ فَأَحسَن الوُضوءَ ثمَّ أَتَى المَسْجدَ لَا يُريدُ إلا الصَّلاةَ، لَم يَخْطُ خُطوةً إلا رَفعَهُ الله بِهَا دَرَجَةً وَحَطَّ عَنهُ بِها خطِيئَةً -حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ المسْجِدَ، فإذَا دَخَلَ المَسْجِدَ كَانَ في صَلاةِ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاة تَحْبسُهُ وَتُصَلِّي الملائِكَةُ عليهِ مَا دَام في مَجلسِه الَّذِي يُصَلِّي فيهِ، يَقَولُونَ: اللَّهُم اغفِر لهُ اللَّهمَّ ارحَمْهُ، اللَّهم تُبْ عَلَيهِ- ما لم يُؤذ فِيهِ أوْ يُحْدِثْ فِيهِ".

"لا يَزالُ أحَدُكُمْ فِي صلاةٍ مَا دَامَ يَنْتَظِرُهَا، وَلا تَزَالُ المَلائِكَةُ تُصلِّي عَلَى أحَدِكُمْ مَا كَانَ فِي المَسْجِدِ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغفِرْ لَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ.

"عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: لا يَزالُ أَحدكُم فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَتِ الصَّلاةُ تَحْبِسهُ لا يَمْنَعهُ أَنْ يَنْقَلِب إِلَى أَهْلِهِ إلَّا انْتِظَارُ الصَّلاةِ، وَأحدكُم تُصَلّي عَلَيه الْملاَئِكَةُ مَا كَانَ فِي مُصَلَّاه الَّذِي صَلَّى فيه، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِر لَهُ، اللَّهُم ارْحَمْه، مَا لَم يُحْدث فِيهِ، أَوْ يُؤْذِ فِيهِ، فَإِذَا أَحْدَثَ فِيهِ لم تُقْبَلْ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ".
