two are the things which I remember Messenger of Allah ﷺ having said: "Verily Allah has enjoined excellence to everything; so when you kill, kill in a good way and when you slaughter, slaughter in a good way. So every one of you should sharpen his knife, and let the slaughtered animal die comfortably."

[Machine] While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in the courtyard of his house in Mecca, Uthman ibn Mazh'un passed by. He approached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said to him, "Why don't you sit?" He said, "Yes, I will sit." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat facing him. While he was talking to him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his gaze to the sky and then looked at it for a while. He then lowered his gaze until he placed it on his right in the ground. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ shifted his position from his companion Uthman to where he had placed his gaze, and he lowered his head as if he was listening carefully to what was being said to him. Ibn Mazh'un looked, and when he had fulfilled his need and heard what he was being told, the gaze of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned towards the sky again as he had done before. He followed the gaze until it disappeared into the sky, then he turned to Uthman in his initial position and said, "O Muhammad, where was I when I used to sit with you and come to you in the morning and see you doing what you did?" He said, "What did you see me do?" He said, "I saw you raise your gaze to the sky with your eyes and then you placed it where you had placed it on your right, and you turned towards it and left me. Then, you started to lower your head as if you were trying to understand something being said to you." He said, "And did you notice that?" Uthman said, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me suddenly while you were sitting." He said, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say anything to you?" He said, "Yes." He asked, "What did he say?" He said, "{Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.}" [Surah An-Nahl: 90]. Uthman said, "That is when faith settled in my heart and I loved Muhammad."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, the deceased can hear the sound of their footsteps when they turn away. If they are a believer, their prayer will be near their head, their fasting will be on their right, and their zakat will be on their left. The acts of goodness such as charity, prayer, maintaining family ties, and kindness towards people will come in front of their feet. Then it will be said to them to sit down, and they will sit down. The sun will be shown to them, nearing its setting. They will be asked, 'What do you say about this man who was among you and what do you testify about him?' They will say, 'Let me pray.' They will be told, 'You will pray, but inform us about what we ask you.' They will say, 'Let me pray.' They will be told, 'You will pray, but inform us about what we ask you.' They will say, 'Let me pray.' They will be told, 'You will pray, but inform us about what we ask you.' They will say, 'Let me pray.' They will be told, 'You will pray, but inform us about what we ask you.' They will say, 'Let me pray.' They will say, 'What do you say about this man who was among you and what do you testify about him?' They will say, 'Which man?' They will be asked, 'The man who was among you.' They will say, 'He is not guided by him.' They will be asked, 'Muhammad?' They will say, 'I heard people say, so I said as they said.' They will be told, 'You lived and died upon that. And you will be resurrected upon that, if Allah wills.' Then a door to the Hellfire will be opened before them and it will be said, 'Look at your place and what Allah has prepared for you, had you obeyed.' They will gain more regret and sorrow. Then a door to Paradise will be opened before them and it will be said, 'Look at your place and what Allah has prepared for you.' They will gain more happiness and joy. This is the saying of Allah: 'Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills.' [Ibrahim 27]." Abu Al-Hakam narrated it from Abu Hurairah, and it was said to him, "Let him rest, the rest of a bridegroom who is not awakened except by the closest of his family or the ones dearest to his heart." Then he returned to the Hadith of Abu Salamah from Abu Hurairah, who said, "And if he is a disbeliever, nothing comes to him from his head, and nothing comes to him from his right, and nothing comes to him from his left, and nothing comes to him from his feet. It will be said to him to sit down, and he will sit down in fear and terror. He will be asked, 'What do you say about this man who was among you and what do you testify about him?' He will say, 'Which man?' They will say, 'The man who was among you.' He will say, 'I say nothing about him.' They will be asked, 'Muhammad?' He will say, 'I didn't hear anything about him.' They will be told, 'You lived and died upon that. And you will be resurrected upon that, if Allah wills.' Then a door to Paradise will be opened before them and it will be said, 'Look at your place and what Allah has prepared for you, had you obeyed.' They will gain more regret and destruction. Then his grave will constrict upon him until his ribs close in on each other. This is the saying of Allah: 'Then indeed, for him is a restricted living. And We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.' [Ta-Ha 124]."

[Machine] According to the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "When a person is placed in their grave, they can hear the footsteps of those who are walking away from them. If the deceased was a believer, then their prayer will be at their head, their fasting will be to their right, and their charity will be to their left. The good deeds of giving in charity, maintaining family ties, and doing good to others will be near their feet. Then it will be said to them, 'Sit up,' and they will sit up. The sun will be brought near to them and the time for sunset will be delayed. It will be said to them, 'Do you see this man whom the people speak about and bear witness to? What do you say about him?' They will reply, 'Leave me alone until I pray.' Then they will say, 'You will soon find out about what we are asking you.' They will ask again, "What do you say about this man whom the people speak about and bear witness to?' The person will say, 'I bear witness that he is the Messenger of Allah and that he brought the truth from Allah.' Then they will be told, 'You have been given life and death for this, and you will be resurrected if Allah wills.' Then a door from the doors of Paradise will be opened for them, and they will be told, 'This is your place from it and what Allah has prepared for you in it.' They will experience an increase in happiness and delight. Then a door from the doors of Hell will also be opened for them, and they will be told, 'This is your place from it and what Allah has prepared for you in it if you were to disobey Him.' They will experience an increase in sadness and remorse. Then their grave will be expanded for them to a distance of seventy arm lengths and it will be illuminated for them. Their body will return to the state it was when they were first buried, and their fragrant odor will be in the breezes of Paradise. This is what Allah meant in His saying, 'Allah will establish those who believe with the word that stands firm in the life of this world and in the Hereafter' until the end of the verse. The Prophet ﷺ also said, 'When a disbeliever is buried, nothing comes to him from the front, right, left, or back. Then he will be told to sit up, and he will sit up in fear and fright. It will be said to him, 'Do you see this man whom the people speak about and bear witness to? What do you say about him?' He will reply, 'Which man?' It will be said, 'The one you were with.' He will say, 'I don't know.' I heard the people saying something, so I said what the people were saying.' It will be said to him, 'You have been given life and death for this, and you will be resurrected if Allah wills.' Then a door from the doors of Hell will be opened for him, and he will be told, 'This is your place from it and what Allah has prepared for you in it.' He will experience an increase in regret and punishment. Then a door from the doors of Paradise will also be opened for him, and he will be told, 'This is your place from it and what Allah has prepared for you in it if you were to obey Him.' He will experience an increase in regret and punishment. Then his grave will be constricted until his ribs will be crushed. This is the straitened life that Allah mentioned in His saying, 'Indeed, he will have a depressing life, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection.'"

[Machine] A stolen item, Shir, was brought to us to inform us of it, so either you inform and I believe you, or I inform and you believe me. Masrooq said, "You inform, I believe you." Then Shir said, "Abdullah ibn Mas'ood reported that the greatest verse in the Book of Allah is '{Allah, there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence}' until the end of the verse." Masrooq said, "You speak the truth, Abdullah informed us that the most comprehensive verse in the Book of Allah is '{Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct}' until the end of the verse." Masrooq said, "You speak the truth," and he narrated to us that the most joyful verse in the Book of Allah is '{O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah}' until the end of the verse." Masrooq said, "You speak the truth," and he narrated to us that the most empowering verse in the Book of Allah is '{And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect}' until the end of the verse."
