"أفْضَلُ الصّدَقَةِ: اللِّسانُ الشَّفاعَةُ، تَفُكُّ بها الأسِيَر، ويُحْقَنُ بها الدَّم، وتَجُرُّ بِها المعروفَ والإحسانَ إلى أَخيكَ، ويُدفَعُ عنه الكريهة ".

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best charity is through the tongue." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is charity through the tongue?" He said, "To intercede on behalf of a captive, to stop bloodshed, to do good and show kindness to your brother, and to repel what is disliked from him."  

الطبراني:٦٩٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي نُعَيْمٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْهُذَلِيِّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَةِ اللِّسَانُ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا صَدَقَةُ اللِّسَانِ؟ قَالَ «الشَّفَاعَةُ يُفَكُّ بِهَا الْأَسِيرُ وَيُحْقَنُ بِهَا الدَّمُ وَتَجُرُّ بِهَا الْمَعْرُوفَ وَالْإِحْسَانَ إِلَى أَخِيكَ وَتَدْفَعُ عَنْهُ الْكَرِيهَةَ»
