"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. He said; 'After me there will be rulers, whoever believes in their lies and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Cistern. Whoever does not believe their lies and does not help them in their wrongdoing, he is of me, and I am of hi, and he will come to me at the Cistern."'  

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ تِسْعَةٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ سَتَكُونُ بَعْدِي أُمَرَاءُ مَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ وَلَيْسَ بِوَارِدٍ عَلَىَّ الْحَوْضَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَهُوَ وَارِدٌ عَلَىَّ الْحَوْضَ  

"The Messenger of Allah came out to us and we were nine, fie and four, some 'Arabs and some non- 'Arabs. He said: 'Listen. Have you heard that after me there will be rulers, whoever enters upon them and believes their lies and help them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Cistern? Whoever does not enter upon them or belive their lies or help them in their wrongdoing is of me and I am of him, and he will come to me at the Cistern."'  

خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ تِسْعَةٌ خَمْسَةٌ وَأَرْبَعَةٌ أَحَدُ الْعَدَدَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ وَالآخَرُ مِنَ الْعَجَمِ فَقَالَ اسْمَعُوا هَلْ سَمِعْتُمْ أَنَّهُ سَتَكُونُ بَعْدِي أُمَرَاءُ مَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَصَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ وَلَيْسَ يَرِدُ عَلَىَّ الْحَوْضَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَىَّ الْحَوْضَ  

"The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'I seek refuge in Allah for you O Ka'b bin Ujrah from leader that will be after me. Whoever comes to their doors to approve of their lies and supports them in their oppression, then he is not of me and I am not of him, and he will not meet me at the Hawd. And whoever comes to their doors, or he does not come, and he does not approve of their lies and he does not support them in their oppression, then he is from me and I am from him, and he will meet me at the Hawd. Ka'ab bin Ujrah! Salat is clear proof, and Sawm (fasting) is an impregnable shield, and Sadaqah (charity) extinguishes sins just as water extinguishes fire. O Ka'b bin Ujrah! There is no flesh raised that sprouts from the unlawful except that the Fire is more appropriate for it.'"  

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُعِيذُكَ بِاللَّهِ يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ مِنْ أُمَرَاءَ يَكُونُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِي فَمَنْ غَشِيَ أَبْوَابَهُمْ فَصَدَّقَهُمْ فِي كَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ وَلاَ يَرِدُ عَلَىَّ الْحَوْضَ وَمَنْ غَشِيَ أَبْوَابَهُمْ أَوْ لَمْ يَغْشَ فَلَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ فِي كَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَىَّ الْحَوْضَ يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ الصَّلاَةُ بُرْهَانٌ وَالصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ حَصِينَةٌ وَالصَّدَقَةُ تُطْفِئُ الْخَطِيئَةَ كَمَا يُطْفِئُ الْمَاءُ النَّارَ يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ إِنَّهُ لاَ يَرْبُو لَحْمٌ نَبَتَ مِنْ سُحْتٍ إِلاَّ كَانَتِ النَّارُ أَوْلَى بِهِ  

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us, we were made up of nine; five and four. The first of the numbers for the Arabs, and the latter for the non-Arabs. He said: 'Listen, have you heard that after me there will leaders, whoever enters upon them and condones to their lies, and supports them in their oppression, then he is not from me and I am not from him, and he shall not drink with me from the Hawd. And whoever does not enter upon them, nor help them in their oppression, nor condones to their lies, then he is from me, and I am from him, and he shall drink with me at the Hawd.'"

"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. [Machine] "Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, 'There will be rulers who are surrounded by groups of people who deceive and lie. Whoever helps them in their injustice and believes their lies is not one of us, and I am not one of them. Whoever does not believe their lies and does not assist them in their injustice, then he is one of us, and I am one of them.'"  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يَغْشَاهُمْ غَوَاشٍ أَوْ حَوَاشٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَظْلِمُونَ وَيَكْذِبُونَ فَمَنْ أَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ وَصَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَا أَنَا مِنْهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَهُوَ مِنِّي  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "There will be rulers who will be surrounded by people who deceive and lie. Whoever enters upon them and supports them in their falsehood and helps them in their injustice, he is not from me and I am not from him. And whoever does not enter upon them and does not believe in their lies and does not assist them in their injustice, he is from me and I am from him."

"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. [Machine] "We used to sit at the door of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , waiting for him to come out for the Dhuhr prayer. When he came out to us, he said, 'Listen,' and we replied, 'We have listened.' Then he said, 'Listen,' and we replied, 'We have listened.' Then he said, 'There will be leaders over you who will not be fair, so do not help them in their injustice and do not believe them in their lies. For whoever supports them in their injustice and believes them in their lies, he will not be granted access to the Pond (of Al-Kawthar).' "  

إِنَّا لَقُعُودٌ عَلَى بَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نَنْتَظِرُ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ لِصَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ إِذْ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ اسْمَعُوا فَقُلْنَا سَمِعْنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ اسْمَعُوا فَقُلْنَا سَمِعْنَا فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ فَلَا تُعِينُوهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ وَلَا تُصَدِّقُوهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ أَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ وَصَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ فَلَنْ يَرِدَ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ  

[Machine] "He was sitting by the Prophet's door ﷺ when he came out and we were sitting. He said, 'Listen.' We said, 'We are listening, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Verily, there will be rulers after me, so do not believe them in their lies, nor support them in their cruelty. Whoever believes them in their lies and supports them in their cruelty, he will not meet me at the Fountain (in Paradise).'"  

أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَاعِدًا عَلَى بَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ فَخَرَجَ وَنَحْنُ قُعُودٌ فَقَالَ «اسْمَعُوا» قُلْنَا سَمِعْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدِي فَلَا تُصَدِّقُوهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَا تُعِينُوهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَنْ يَرِدَ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ»  

"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ تِسْعَةٌ وَبَيْنَنَا وَسَائِدُ مِنْ أَدَمٍ أَحْمَرَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ بَعْدِي أُمَرَاءُ فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ وَلَنْ يَرِدَ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ» وَقَدْ شَهِدَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ هَذَا لِكَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ  

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us, we were made up of nine; five and four. The first of the numbers for the Arabs, and the latter for the non-Arabs. "The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. [Machine] The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "After me, there will be leaders who will deceive people with their falsehoods, and whoever believes in their lies and helps them in their wrongdoing, then I am innocent of him and he is innocent of me. And whoever does not believe in their lies and does not support them in their injustice, then I am innocent of him and he is innocent of me."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «سَيَكُونُ مِنْ بَعْدِي أُمَرَاءُ يَغْشَاهُمْ غَوَاشٍ النَّاسِ فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِيءٌ وَهُوَ مِنِّي بَرِيءٌ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَهُوَ مِنِّي»  

[Machine] We were sitting at the door of the Prophet ﷺ when he came out and said, "Do you hear?" We said, "Yes, we have heard two or three times." He said, "Indeed, you will have rulers who will not be truthful and you should not believe them in their lies or support them in their injustice. For whoever believes them in their lies and supports them in their injustice will not meet me at the Pool (of Kawthar)".  

كُنَّا قُعُودًا عَلَى بَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا فَقَالَ «أَتَسْمَعُونَ؟» قُلْنَا قَدْ سَمِعْنَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ فَلَا تُصَدِّقُوهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَا تُعِينُوهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ»  

"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يَكْذِبُونَ فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ؛ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ؛ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ غَدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ»  

"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. He said; 'After me there will be rulers, whoever believes in their lies and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Cistern. Whoever does not believe their lies and does not help them in their wrongdoing, he is of me, and I am of hi, and he will come to me at the Cistern."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4207)

"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ سَبْعَةٌ أَوْ تِسْعَةٌ وَبَيْنَنَا وَسَائِدُ مِنْ أَدَمٍ أَحْمَرَ قَالَ إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ بَعْدِي أُمَرَاءُ فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ وَلَنْ يَرِدَ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ

"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. "اسْمَعُوا، هلْ سمعتم؟ إنَّه سيكونُ بعدى أُمراءُ فمن دخلَ عليهم فصدَّقَهُم بكذبِهم، وأعانَهُم على ظلْمهم، فليس منِّي، ولستُ منْه، وليسَ بواردٍ عليَّ الحوْضَ، ومَنْ لمْ يدخلْ عليهم، ولم يُعنهم على ظلمهم، ولم يصدِّقْهُم بكذبهم فهو منِّى، وأنا منه، وهو واردٌ عليَّ الحوْضَ".  

"تَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يَظْلِمُون ويَكْذبون، يَأتِيهم غَوَاشٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهم فَصَدَّقَهُمْ بكَذِبِهِمْ (وأَعانهم على ظُلمِهِمْ فليسَ مِنِّى، وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ عَليهم، وَلَم يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهمْ) وَلمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلمِهمْ فهُوَ مِنِّى وَأَنَا مِنْهُ".  

"The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'I seek refuge in Allah for you O Ka'b bin Ujrah from leader that will be after me. Whoever comes to their doors to approve of their lies and supports them in their oppression, then he is not of me and I am not of him, and he will not meet me at the Hawd. And whoever comes to their doors, or he does not come, and he does not approve of their lies and he does not support them in their oppression, then he is from me and I am from him, and he will meet me at the Hawd. Ka'ab bin Ujrah! Salat is clear proof, and Sawm (fasting) is an impregnable shield, and Sadaqah (charity) extinguishes sins just as water extinguishes fire. O Ka'b bin Ujrah! There is no flesh raised that sprouts from the unlawful except that the Fire is more appropriate for it.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 614)   

"أُعيذُكَ باللهِ يا كعْبُ بن عُجْرة! من أمراءَ يكونون (من) بعدى فمن غَشِي أَبْوَابَهُمْ، فصدَّقهم في كَذبِهْم، وأَعانَهْم على ظُلمِهمْ، فليسَ منى، ولَسْتُ منه، ولا يَرِدُ عليَّ الحوضَ، ومن غَشِى أَوْ لَم يغشَ، فَلَم يُصَدِّقْهم في كَذِبِهمْ ولم يُعِنْهم على ظُلمِهِمْ، فهو مِنِّي، وأنا منْهُ، وَسَيَرِدُ عليَّ الحوضَ، يا كعْبُ بنَ عُجْرَةَ! الصلاةُ بُرْهَانُ، والصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ، والصَّدَقَةُ تُطَفئُ الخطيئةَ، كما يُطفِئِ الماءُ النارَ، يا كعبُ بن عُجْرَة! إِنَّهُ لا يَرْبُو لَحْمٌ من سُحْتٍ إِلَّا كانت النارُ أَوْلَى بِه".  

"عَنْ خَبَّابٍ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَاعِدًا عَلَى بَابِ النبىِّ ﷺ قَالَ: فَخَرَجَ وَنَحْنُ قُعُودٌ فَقَالَ: اسْمَعُوا، قُلْنَا: سَمِعْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: إنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدِى فَلا تُصَدِّقُوهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَا تُعِينُوهُم عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ، فَإنَّهُ مَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَنْ يَرِدَ عَلىَّ الحَوْضَ".  

"عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ اسْمَعُوا، قُلْنَا: سَمِعْنَا، قَالَ: اسْمَعُوا - ثَلَاثًا - إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يَكْذِبُونَ وَيَظْلِمُونَ، فَمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ

فَصَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّى وَلَا أَنَا مِنْهُ، وَلَنْ يَرِدَ عَلَى الحوض، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُم عَلَى ظُلْمِهِم فَهُو مِنِّى وَأَنَا مِنْهُ، وَهُوَ وَارِدٌ على الحوض".  

"إِنَّها سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدِى يعظون بِالْحِكْمَةِ عَلى مَنابِرَ، فَإِذَا نَزَلُوا اخْتُلِسَتْ مِنْهُمْ، وَقُلُوبُهُمْ أَنْتَنُ مَنَ الجِيفِ، فمن صَدَّقهم بكذبهم، وأَعانَهُمْ على

ظُلمهم فَلَيْسَ منِّى، ولستُ مِنْهُ، وَلَا يردُ علىَّ الْحَوض، وَمَنْ لَمْ يصَدِّقْهم بكذبهم، ولم يُعِنْهُمْ على ظُلْمِهمْ منِّى وَأَنَا مِنْهُ وسيردُ علىَّ الْحَوْضَ" .  

"إِنَّها ستكونُ أُمراءُ، فمن صدَّقَهُم بكذبِهم، وأَعانَهم على ظلْمِهم، وغَشِى أَبوابَهم، فليْسَ منِّى ولستُ مِنْه ولا يردُ علىَّ الحوْض، ومن لم يصدقْهم بكذبهم، ولمْ يُعنهُم على ظُلْمِهِم، ولم يَغْشَ أَبوابهم، فهو مِنِّى، وسيردُ علَّى الحوْضَ".  

"إِنَّها ستكُونُ بعْدِى أُمراءُ يَكْذِبونَ ويظْلِمُونَ، فمنْ دخَل (عليْهم) فصدَّقَهم بكذبِهم وأَعانُهم على ظُلْمِهم فليْسَ مِنِّى، ولسْتُ مِنْه، وليس بواردٍ علىَّ الحوضَ؛ ومَنْ لمْ يُصَدِّقْهُم بكذبِهم. ويُعِنْهم على ظُلْمهم، فهو منِّى، وأَنا منه، وهو واردٌ علىَّ الحوْضَ" .  

("إِنَّهُ سيكونُ عليكم أُمراءُ يكذِبُون ويظلِمُونَ، فَمنْ صدَّقَهُم

بكذبِهِم، وأعانَهُم على ظُلمهم فليْس مِنِّى، ولسْتُ منْهُ؛ ولا يردُ علَىَّ الحوْض ومَنْ لمْ يصدِّقْهُم بكذِبِهم، ولا يُعينُهم على ظُلمِهم فهو منِّى وأَنَا مِنْهُ وسيردُ علَىَّ الحوض".  

"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَفِيهِ تِسْعَةُ نَفَرٍ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمرَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدِى، مَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ يَكْذِبْ (*) وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ وَغَشِىَ أَبْوَابَهُمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّى وَلَسْتُ منْهُ وَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِئٌ، وَلَنْ يَرِدَ عَلَى الْحَوْضَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بكَذِبِهِمْ، وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ، وَلَمْ يَغْشَ أَبْوَابَهُمْ، فَهُوَ مِنِّى وَأَنَا مِنْهُ، وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَىَّ الْحَوْضَ".  

"عَنْ سَعْدِ بنِ إسْحَاقَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بنِ عَجْرةَ، عَنْ أَبِيه عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ الله ﷺ يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ عَجْرَةَ! أُعِيذُكَ بِالله مِن إِمَارَة السُّفَهَاءِ، قُلْتُ: يَا رسُولَ الله! ومَا إِمَارَةُ السُّفهاءِ؟ قَالَ: يُوشِكُ أَنْ تَكُونَ أمراء إِنْ حَدَّثُوا كَذَبُوا، وإِنْ عَمِلُوا أقالوا فَمَنْ جَاءَهُمْ فَصَدَّقَهُم بِكَذِبِهِم وَأَعَانَهُم عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّى وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ، ولَا يَرِد عَلِى حَوْضِى غَدًا، وَمَنْ لم يَأتِهم وَلَم يُصَدَّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ، وَلمْ يُعِنْهُم عَلَى ظُلْمِهِم، فَهُو مِنَّى وَأَنَا مِنْهُ، وَهُوَ يَرِدُ عَلَى حَوْضِى غَدًا".  

"عَنْ أَبِى سَعِيدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ قَالَ: سَيَكُونُ أُمَراءُ يَظْلِمُونَ وَيَكْذِبُونَ وَيغْشَاهُمْ غَوَاش، أَوْ قَالَ: غَوَاش مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَمَنْ أَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ، وَصَدَّقَهُمْ بِكذبهم فَلَيْسَ مِنِّى وَلَا أَنَا مِنْهُ، وَمنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعنهم عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُو مِنِّى وَأَنَا مِنْهُ".
