30. Those with Teknonyms Among Male Companions Whose Name is Not Known
٣٠۔ مُسْنَدُ مَنْ يُعْرَفُ بِالْكُنَى مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِمَّنْ لَمْ يُنْقَلْ إِلَيْنَا اسْمُهُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If someone comes to you and you are pleased with his religion and character, then marry him. If you do not, there will be discord and widespread corruption on earth." He repeated this three times.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا جَاءَكُمْ مَنْ تَرْضَوْنَ دِينَهُ وَخُلُقَهُ فَأَنْكِحُوهُ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوا تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ عَرِيضٌ» قَالَ ثَلَاثًا
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, so-and-so has a palm tree, and I have built my wall with it. Therefore, order him to give it to me so that I can build my wall with it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give it to him in exchange for a palm tree in Jannah (Paradise)." The man refused and then went to the person who owned the palm tree and said, "Sell me your palm tree for my wall." The owner agreed and then went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have sold my palm tree to him, as you have instructed." The Prophet ﷺ said, "How many ripe dates for Abu Al-Dahdah?" This happened multiple times. Then, Abu Al-Dahdah went to his wife and said, "O mother of Al-Dahdah, leave the wall as I have sold it in exchange for a palm tree in Jannah." She said, "Profit is gained or a word similar to it."
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لِفُلَانٍ نَخْلَةً وَأَنَا أُقِيمُ حَائِطِي بِهَا فَأَمْرُهْ أَنْ يُعْطِينِي إِيَّاهَا حَتَّى أُقِيمَ بِهَا حَائِطِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَعْطِهَا إِيَّاهُ بِنَخْلَةٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ» فَأَبَى فَأَتَى أَبُو الدَّحْدَاحِ الرَّجُلَ فَقَالَ بِعْنِي نَخْلَتَكَ بِحَائِطِي فَفَعَلَ فَأَتَى أَبُو الدَّحْدَاحِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ «إِنِّي قَدِ ابْتَعْتُ النَّخْلَةَ بِحَائِطِي فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ وَقَدْ أَعْطَيْتُكَهَا» فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كَمْ مِنْ عِذْقِ رَدَاحٍ لِأَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ مِرَارًا» فَأَتَى أَبُو الدَّحْدَاحِ امْرَأَتَهُ فَقَالَ يَا أُمَّ الدَّحْدَاحِ اخْرُجِي مِنَ الْحَائِطِ فَقَدْ بِعْتُهُ بِنَخْلَةٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَقَالَتْ رَبِحَ الْبَيْعُ أَوْ كَلِمَةً تُشْبِهُهَا
[Machine] When the verse "Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan?" was revealed, Abu al-Dahdah said, "O Messenger of Allah, Allah wants us to lend Him a loan." The Prophet said, "Yes, O Abu al-Dahdah." Then Abu al-Dahdah requested, "Show me your hand." The Prophet extended his hand, and Abu al-Dahdah placed his hand in the Prophet's hand and said, "I have lent my Lord my garden, and in my garden, there are six hundred date palm trees." Then the Prophet came near the garden and called out, "O mother of al-Dahdah!" She was in the garden and responded, "Here I am." The Prophet told her, "Come out, for I have borrowed from my Lord."
لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا} قَالَ أَبُو الدَّحْدَاحِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ اللهَ يُرِيدُ مِنَّا الْقَرْضَ قَالَ «نَعَمْ يَا أَبَا الدَّحْدَاحِ» قَالَ أَرِنِي يَدَكَ فَنَاوَلَهُ يَدَهُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي قَدْ أَقْرَضْتُ رَبِّي حَائِطِي وَفِي حَائِطِي سِتَّمِائَةٍ نَخْلَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَ إِلَى الْحَائِطِ فَنَادَى يَا أُمَّ الدَّحْدَاحِ وَهِيَ فِي الْحَائِطِ فَقَالَتْ لَبَّيْكَ فَقَالَ اخْرُجِي فَقَدْ أَقْرَضْتُهُ رَبِّي
